The decor was cute and tied to the city. The room was small but had all we needed. The street noise could still be heard but one has to understand it’s New Orleans, good times roll all night long. Breakfast was tasty with a great selection and the bar has a nice Happy Hour each day. The frosting on the cake is that the entire staff was very friendly and attentive.

The front desk staff was really nice. So was the bartender. The hotel itself isn’t anything fancy, but it was still nice and clean. The room was small but both the room and the bathroom was also really nice. The location was pretty good. The only issue was the valet. He was a little rude. There wasn’t much parking in front the hotel and on a slightly busy street. He wanted us to check in before he took the car. And then got annoyed but I came back out and said the room wasn’t ready. And he asked “well are ya’ll going to come back later?” And when I said no, got even more annoyed. It was just slightly disappointing. I’ve stayed at so many hotels in New Orleans and usually the valets are polite and it’s a smooth process. This wasn’t. He made us park the car almost in the middle of the road and cars were having to go around it because he “needed to call another guy.” It was just stressful and a little hectic. We had no issue the next day getting the car, so maybe it was just an off day

Very disappointing stay We had a very bad experience at this hotel. We specifically requested connecting rooms because we were traveling as a family, but instead we were given handicap rooms on different floors, which made no sense for our situation. The next day, they changed our rooms, but they only gave us one room because the other one was supposedly still being cleaned. When we returned at night, they gave us the key to the second room, only to find out it was already occupied by someone else. As a result, we ended up staying on different floors again, which was extremely frustrating and stressful. While I will say that the rooms themselves were clean, the location is very bad. The area is full of homeless people, with urine and feces on the streets, which made us feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Overall, I believe there are much better areas and hotels to stay at, especially for families. I would not choose this hotel again.
