We were on vacation in New Orleans and found the Indigo. Location was exactly what we were looking for, beautiful hotel, lovely rooms. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. I used the Valet parking which was easy. I would stay again!

I thought that Hotel Indigo had a decent location in that it is close to all the tourist attractions. The staff was accommodating and overall great to deal with. My only complaint would be the elevators often not working properly. One time my daughters were on the elevator and it literally got stuck in one of the elevators for a few minutes. Then on the day we were checking out the elevators had stopped working at all and we had to up and down the 8 flights of steps with our luggage in tow which was super inconvenient and showed me just how out of shape I am. Overall it was a good experience staying here though.

Other then the elevator not operating they stay was ok.. my room was in the 10th floor and carrying luggage was horrible. The next day I asked to move to a lower level.. 5th floor is where I remained

This property was close to all the bars/restaurants which was convenient. Our room was not ready when we checked in around 4:45pm. They did “accommodate” by giving us free breakfast vouchers. The breakfast was not good. Our sink started off with leaking and then after the leaking was fixed it kept getting clogged. I had to call maintenance 6 times throughout our 3 day stay. The elevator was not working when we checked in so we had to walk up 6 flight of stairs with our luggage. When they fixed it, only one elevator was working. So It took forever for the elevator to come. We did not spend too much time in the hotel room so it was fine but if you plan on staying in the hotel room for long periods I would not recommend.

Only 1 out of 3 elevators were working when I arrived. Then that 1 elevator started to have problems where they had to keep resetting it causing us to have to take the stairs from the 9th floor with a bad knee. That was not acceptable.

The hotel was excellent all except the elevators. The hotel has three elevators but only one worked. The staff stated two of the elevators stopped working after Mardi Gras. The one elevator that was in service had to be reset every other day. People would be on the top floors and had to walk down nine/ten flights of stairs. People even got stuck on the elevators. Other than that it was good.

During my 5-day, 4-night stay, only one of the three elevators worked. On that one elevator, the button for my floor functioned intermittently. My room was not serviced one day as expected. The front door of the property had non-guests congregating near it most afternoons and evenings.

Felt like a bus station

Great location but the lobby felt like a bus station. Lots of people just sitting around. The elevator was broken, too. Stag was nice and attentive but it doesn’t seem real professional when they are eating chick-fil-a at the front desk. Not expensive but not the quiet experience I had hoped for.

Very nice and well designed hotel in a very convenient location with most activities within walking distance.The rooms are small and cozy with just about the right size for no more than two people to move around. The restuarant/bar on the ground floor offered a nice breakfast buffet with quite a few options but I would suggest maybe changing it up a bit every day or every couple days as it became a little boring having the same options everyday during our stay. There were also some minor elevator issues that needed to get resolved. We had to take the stairs a couple times when the elevator was just stuck and the others were under repair.

Everything was fine with our stay. We did have issues with the shower not draining properly and only one elevator worked, so it took quite some time to get to the 7th floor and we had to use the stairs often. Other than that, the stay was very friendly and accommodating and we would stay again.

Super comfy beds, clean room, great windows.

The beds are super comfortable and the staff was great. The only problem we had was the thermostat did not work. The first night was hot as heck and we kept thinking it was our fault but gave up at the morning them and maintenance has to come fix it. It was a bit cold the rest of the time and the thermostat was not trustworthy at all.
