Excellent hotel. Excellent.

I appreciated the location of the hotel - near everything! Easy access to the highway, but didn't need it to travel the city. It is literally across the street from the convention center, near the aquarium and french quarter, and in walking distance of bars and restaurants. I'm not used to using valet parking, so that was a cultire shock issue i had to deal with - my fault for not checking the parking situation ahead of time.

One desk person checking in new people. Six in front of us so took us about 30 minutes to check in. Paper thin walls plus loud music had us calling the front desk, who did nothing about it! We has to beat on the walls and door to get the to quiet down. Valet took over 45 minutes to retrieve car. Wont be back here!!

The shuttle information is terrible. Got up to wait in a long line only to find out that people paid ahead of time for the shuttle, which was free. Nobody told us we could pay a fee to get on the shuttle list early. Luckily we were able to get a spot. This information should’ve been told to everyone not just a select a few.

Property was nice inside. The price was low but equivalent to others once you add in 44 tax a day for valet which ended up being $99 for valet. I would've stayed where i could get more amenities if i knew parking was going to be that expensive. Drury has free parking and better accommodations.

Make sure there’s enough breakfast until 930

The state itself is amazing. It’s in a good area. The hotel was clean. The room was beautiful. My only complaint is if you’re going to offer breakfast till 930 please make sure that the people who wanna sleep in until eight or 830 has breakfast when they get there. We go downstairs at 8:30. The waffle machine is empty. The omelette are empty, half the sausage and the potatoes are empty. Not everybody wakes up at the crack of dawn on a vacation.

This is an outstanding hotel for any kind of stay, but it was an awesome site for attending a conference at the Conference Center. The hotel was clean, the breakfast was very good, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely stay here if visiting New Orleans again in the future!
