The motel was clean and great location, but could use some updating. Only one elevator, the other one was broken. Our favorite part was the outside deck. Newer construction and right on the beach!
This was a dog friendly hotel. The room did not smell like dogs. It was nice having a small refrigerator and a microwave. The staff was very nice and helpful.
Short walk to restaurants.
Only one elevator worked for the entire 7 story hotel. No coffee in the reception area. We ordered a premium room with an ocean view. Our coffee pot did not work in our room. The ocean view was beautiful. Smoker below consumed a great deal of marijuana on the first night so we could not open the balcony door.
I got ocean front, beautiful views, staff friendly, only coplaint was weather, wish I could have gone swimming. Pool was too cold. Love the outdoor resident kitty boots and its little house up against the hotel and the little porch.
The hotel location close to the main drag and to the beach was ideal which is why we chose to stay here. However, the building is tired and in need of a refresh. The bed was lumpy, the bathroom faucet leaked, the shower rod had been installed improperly so the curtain kept sliding to the middle, and only one elevator was working.
We went to get away for our 50th wedding anniversary and found everything to be nice except the mattresses. They were very uncomfortable. Had a very big dip in the middle both of the beds. I had to sleep sideways for my back to not hurt. I would stay again but make sure we had a different bed.

There were only two elevators, one was out of order. So for each trip we had to spend a lot of time coming down from seventh floor and going back up. Especially when it is a weekend.
While the property was located in a good location, the cleanliness of the property needs to be improved. When they say pet friendly I didnt realize they were providing the pets. Came into room and had a roach on the bed. Told the front desk and they said that exterminator was coming soon.
