The staff resolved an issue prompty and without any fuss. The hotel was to a good standard, the staff very helpfull and the breakfast had a lot of variety (if only it had fresh baked loaves). This hotel appears to be used by coaches, hence it can be difficult to eat at the main restaurant, however the one outside is very good. We loved the practical artwork in the lobby, it added character. We'll be staying there again next time we're in Iceland.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were travelling around Iceland and it was only a one night stay but it was a lovely hotel in a wonderful location overlooking the lake at Myvatn and close to other attractions such as Myvatn Nature Baths (discount available from hotel). We dined in the attached restaurant which was very good as was breakfast the next morning. The rooms were very modern and very clean. Staff were very helpful. There was nothing about this property that we didn't like.

The hotel is fine, wifi is strong and breakfast is decent. However, there are a few issues. First, the toilet is a jet flushing type, think of an airplane toilet, and it's not working well. Over 1 night's stay i had to call the front desk to get them to fix it twice. Not having a reliable toilet is a not a good look for a hotel. Second, do not rely on the on-site EV charger, it's not working. Luckily there is a fast charging one in the parking lot of the Fosshotel My'vatn 5 minutes away. So, the better option is just to stay there.

Loved this property, beautiful rooms, great location convenient to everything in the Myvatn area. Great food in the restaurant/breakfast. Onsite EV chargers were convienient as well.

OK, but probably would not stay there again.

Very small room, smallest room we had on our 3 week trip, and at over $200 it was not cheap. Easy check-in. Had a restaurant and bar, but not much else around it, like other restaurants. Very poor lighting.

Very nice one-night stay as we were traveling the Ring Road. The room was comfortable (yet unseasonably hot!) and the continental breakfast was delicious. The sack lunch was a great addition that we enjoyed on the banks of Studlagil Canyon - amazing day!

Wonderful hotel

Great location- close to highway, gas station, hot springs and lake. Restaurant next door. Hits tubs are wonderful to relax in . Breakfast is delicious.

A very nice hotel with a couple hot tubs and nice restaurant close to the lake. I thought our queen room was too small even by European standards for the price. Very warm room too. We hiked around the volcano crater and had pizza at Daddi’s (delicious with vegan option)

We ckecked in a room first floor facing the sun. It was really warm in the room. Asked staff to change the cooler room. He upgraded to bigger cooler room without extra charge. Breakfast is really good. Their restaurant, Mylla, is really good.
