Love love love. Can not say enough good things! Gorgeous design and great amenities in the room including an eco friendly towel drying rack (powered by hot water). They also have a list where you can write down your room and they’ll wake you up if northern lights are spotted so we got to see those. We were given a corner room with stunning views of the scenery. Absolutely amazing hotel with very kind and accommodating staff!!
This hotel was nice and the food in the restaurant was good. They did provide a room call for the Northern Lights (which some hotels will provide and that is great when wanting to view the Northern Lights). The surrounding area around the hotel was dark enough to have an enjoyable experience if the Northern Lights are active. Additionally, some of the tour groups use the parking lot of this hotel as their meeting point for their tours. We had a tour and this made it very convenient for us.
Loved this place. We would definitely stay here again. We had a northern lights tour booked but didn’t get to see any the time we stayed there. So it was sad and disappointing. The hotel had everything we needed and more.
Excellent hotel. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Very clean and very nice modern and tasteful interior design.
The restaurant was very good offering choices at competitive prices.
I can't fault the hotel it was superb. The area around Lake Myvatn is simply stunning, with many different and varied incredible natural wonders. I can't wait to return.
Highly recommended.
We only stayed for a night (unfortunately) but we had an amazing stay, the room was cozy and the hotel was very cute and nice. Amazing breakfast too! We also got an incredible Aurora show 🙏
The rooms were a little smaller than the other locations we'd stayed. We enjoyed their hot tubs & appreciated the option to have Northern Lights phone call if they became visible during the night. We enjoyed the in room coffee & tea.
The hotel was our 7th night on the ring road tour around Iceland. The location around the Mývatn lake was breathtaking even from the Berjaya Iceland Hotel bar.
This hotel seemed European in design, has a wonderfully eclectic style and a personality that suits an experienced traveller or couple. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and each item has been selected carefully for the ease of the guest. The space and features chosen made everything a little easier, such as enough room for a big winter coat and a shelf for your snow-covered boots. They were simple things, but thought has been put into these touches and I appreciated them.
The restaurant and bar were modern, with a rustic charm. We sat comfortably for hours in the lounge and watched the sunset over the lake; it was stunning.
Loves this place!!! Thank you
We had an excellent stay - the staff were super friendly and helpful. Good location to some local top must see sights. Room was clean comfortable and modern. Food in the restaurant was delicious and the bar area was relaxing - will definitely be back!
By a large margin the best hotel I stayed at in Iceland to date, very quiet and two hot tubs meant it was always easy to find one to enjoy, just off the main road as well making it easy to find
