Book Munroe Island hotels

All staff from security, reception, restaurant & cleaning were so welcoming & friendly. All staff spoke good english. Hotel was excellent with free boat ride & afternoon tea. Rooms were clean & modern. Eating in the restaurant is pricey.

Initially we booked a standard AC room but upgraded to a deluxe AC room on the 2nd floor which has been constructed newly. The room had ample space with a small balcony as well as with TV and a small storage cupboard. The room, attached bathroom-toilet was clean and the bed linen as well as towels were clean. Provision for tea/coffee in the room was available. A table chair would have been nice. Nearby dining options are available. The not-so good reviews are mostly due to the standard rooms on the first floor. Overall, a decent budget hotel close to the Kayamkulam train station with friendly front-desk staff who can arrange transport to visit nearby places.

We had an excellent stay at this property, the rooms were very clean and well maintained. There was an initial issue with one of the ac’s but they immediately gave us an additional room. The room was not available as the four seasons did not have membership with Expedia. We had such a struggle to arrange money and to pay cash on spot for the rooms. Terrible service from Expedia

Great place, quiet, secluded beach, close enough to shops and restaurants at Varkala Beach- 100-200 rupees in a tuk tuk. Hotel staff go out of their way to help you, they arranged our transport wherever we wanted to go and prices were fantastic
