We had a wonderful time staying here. The proximity to the quay was a major plus. Very relaxing environment in the hotel and surrounding area. Not much in the way of night life around the hotel though. Most eateries and stores in the immediate area were closed quite early. All things considered we had a great time and would not hesitate to stay again. Definitely recommended.

You need to stay here!

Check in was fast and efficient with great directions for parking. Room was excellent! New LVP flooring with beautiful decor. Microwave and fridge and coffee maker. Beautiful view of the harbour with sliding door and small balcony. We ate at the restaurant at the hotel minoz and LOVED the food! Everything was great and the location was excellent. Close to harbour and parks.

Great, renovated property in the heart of downtown, with great views. Staff was fantastic, and the newly renovated rooms are great. VERY pet friendly, which was much appreciated. Downtown Nanaimo, so have to watch safety after dark, but they are working on making it nicer, so perhaps that will lead to improvements in safety over time.
