From Gimpo International Airport, Muak-tong is a commute of 14 kilometres to the east. If you're arriving from the city centre, you'll find the neighbourhood 3 kilometres to the northwest.

Muak-tong is a sightseer's paradise. A good number of the city's attractions are dotted near this interesting neighbourhood, including Dongdaemun Market and Gyeongbok Palace.
