Property was clean and well maintained. Good amenities in the room such as the washing machine. Location was good as it was close to the subway and airport bus pickup. Hotel was also within walking distance to Myeongdong (15-20 minutes).

"A Wonderful First Stay in Korea!"

We were very satisfied with our stay at Hotel The Botanik Sewoon Myeongdong. The hotel was clean, quiet, and had a very relaxing atmosphere. The design and ambiance were both modern and cozy, which made us feel comfortable right away. The location is excellent—very accessible and close to public transport, shopping areas, and many local attractions in the city. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout our entire stay. They made us feel welcome and answered all our questions with a smile. It was our first time visiting Korea, so having friendly and supportive hotel personnel really made a difference. We stayed in April and were lucky to find the hotel on sale when we booked. It turned out to be a great value for the price. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We highly recommend Hotel The Botanik Sewoon Myeongdong to anyone visiting Seoul. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Good place to stay in Seoul

Very nice hotel. A short walk along streets from the airport shuttle or metro - would be inconvenient in bad weather, otherwise ok. Convenient - lots of eating possibilities and some attractions nearby. Interesting to walk by day or night: the hotel is surrounded by an old run-down area of low houses with hardware stores, but I don't think it's unsafe. There is also a long building full of businesses selling electronics, etc - geek heaven! Also, an extensive area of little eateries. The buffet breakfast (extra) was very good. Staff ok. Gym was small but sufficient. The only negative is that there are two towers and no indication of which is which - got lost several times. How hard would it be to have a sign in the elevator?

Excellent Customer Service

The customer service was top-notch. When airline cancellations made us miss the first night of our stay, they worked with us to refund us the night we missed. They were very efficient and courteous during the whole process. Being American, I’m not used to such efficiency and customer service. I’m very impressed. The location was also great. It’s super close to the Cheonggyecheon Stream & just 15 minute walk from Insadong & Ikseon areas. Highly recommend

Beautiful room with luxurious bathroom and kitchen area. Loved the extra touches such as the shoe rack, full size refrigerator with free water daily, and the air dresser. Did not like the fact that the second bedroom did not have a door or even a small closet.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is ideally located between three metro stations and within walking distance to the vibrant Myeongdong shopping street. The walk to Myeongdong is pleasant, with plenty of eateries, cafes and bakeries along the way, offering lots of dining options. We stayed in a family suite for four, which was spacious, clean and very well equipped. The inclusion of a washing machine and dryer was a great bonus, especially for longer stays. Another added convenience was the emart located right downstairs—perfect for picking up snacks, drinks, or any essentials we might have forgotten. Getting to and from the airport was also hassle-free, with the airport limousine bus stop just a short walk across the road at a nearby hotel. Overall, this hotel offers excellent convenience, comfort and value. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Seoul.

Paid one night for free to the hotel. Hotels are very rigid with their timings and policies abt it. Can’t be flexible. This hotel is more like an apartment. Not impressed as prices are really high.
