Lovely entrance as you drive in. Rooms are ok, bit of regular detailed cleaning is needed. Not very family friendly. A great big pool but if you have small kids the pool will be too deep for them. No shallow area for them to play except on the steps. You aren’t very close to local shops so you may want to bring some food for eg to use the bbq however, the rooms only have small bar fridges which makes it very hard to store what you need! The restaurant doesn’t sell hot chips and kid friendly items! Big mistake. It’s hard to work out who the hotel is designed for but it’s definitely not families as they claim. It has lot of potential but sadly misses the mark in quite a few areas.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

The room was simple, clean. Nice surprise to have a fridge available with tea cofee making facilities. No powerpoint in my room however, so could only charge my phone in the public area.
