Great location to walk to the Vieux port and place des arts, underground parking very convenient. The staff were extremely nice. The room itself was fairly clean, you can just tell it's an old and tired hotel; carpets could use a change, cupboards are crooked, it smelled of cigarette smoke, etc. That being said, for the price and location, I would definitely recommend!

I only liked the fact that it had a kitchen and had a bus stop right outside. Everything else was a drawback: not clean, the carpet was very dirty, water was spilled on the floor. Asked for an early check in by 2 hours but only ended up needing it 20 mins earlier but the room wasn't ready. Asked them to keep suitcases in room, after waiting for half hour, myself took them from lobby to room. needed tea sachets and was asked to come to reception to collect. no room service. no housekeeping during the stay if you are planning to stay for less than a week. Overall, a very disappointing experience. no balcony in rooms.

Pleasant Stay!

Room appears very similar to the photos in the summary. It was clean, but slightly dated decor. The room had 2 double beds and a small kitchen area to prepare food, however there was only ONE desk chair and a desk to sit at so if you were self catering… you either needed to eat in bed or sit on the floor if there are more than one person. Only other comment was the odour! For several days the fragrance of ‘weed’ was very obvious in the corridors and drifting into my room! I guess people are ignoring the prohibited signs and using. Wouldn’t be too bad but the windows are bolted closed to no fresh air was possible Located near china town area and writhin 5 mins walk of main shopping street and also the Old Port area so a perfect base to explore.

It was perfectly located to visit the city of Ottawa. We enjoyed the hospitality of the young man who sorted out our room for us. The parking was convenient. Although the bathrooms had little space and a bobby pin was on the floor under the sink the whole time, we thought it was nicely updated and fairly clean

One family member has a very restricted diet and having a full kitcken was a necessity. Other than our last night, the hotel was very quiet. During our visit another family member badly sprained their ankle. The hotel was able to supply a wheelchair that proved essential during our stay. The bathtub did not have grab rails which would have helped. Overall, very pleased with the friendly and helpful staff

One of best hotel apartments stayed in.

I'm retired and travel a lot . This was one of the best places I've stayed in . Large studio with all facilities. Although no meals included not an issue as you then had a choice of eating out or ,eating in'. All staff polite and professional. Location near Quam Metro and bus station near by. Centrali Rail station 20 minute walk away. Next to Chinatown. 10 minutes walk from port. Electronic key card to enter building , work elevator and to get in room.

Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. I really like having kitchen unit with two queen beds. I did find these were not a true queen they were a bit narrower. Sadly beds were not comfortable. It was lumpy and hard. Pillows were great. Room was very dated and in desperate need for renovation. Bedding very clean, towels clean. Broken tiles, broken countertop arborite, drapes hanging, dust hanging off fixtures, floor crevices dirty all along edges by walls. I cleaned it myself. Hallways quiet. I felt safe. Great security features . Great location to bus and metro. I would stay there again.

It's a quite disappointing experience, with the price we expected to be better. The environment of the hotel was a little bit scary. Maybe it's a little dark and old. Our door ended up unable to lock at some point. What's worse and the creepy part was, on the second day, the door of our room was opened by someone, we supposed to be hotel staff, and did not lock it back, but the room was NOT tidied either. Supposedly there should be housekeeping service. Not sure what happened, luckily we did not find any belongings lost or stolen. Likely not going to book again or recommend others.

We stayed in a 2 bed suite. It was really great having 2 rooms. The bed area had the kitchen and then a second sitting room with tv and desk was very welcome for 2 friends sharing. It gave us space when someone was up later or earlier in the morning. There was a full kitchen with dishwasher that made it convenient to make our own food when we wanted to. The location was close to many attractions like Chinatown, the Basilica and old Montreal. Metro stations were also conveniently close. I definitely recommend this property for people looking for a place that's not too fussy, but clean. The staff were helpful and accommodating.

I have to give this hotel a 1 star simply because our room was infested with ants and they refused a refund for our final day after we checked out early. There was a constant march of ants along the baseboards in the living room. Furthermore when packing up to leave we found ants in our hamper and amongst our clothes. They don’t clean your room unless you stay for a week or more, even if you ask. Unacceptable. We literally returned home a day early because the room we were not comfortable in the room.
