Room was neglected, i didn't feel protected as the crew wasn't prepared for the crowds & people began fighting i feel like im stranded in a prison they were putting people out of they're rooms in the middle of a storm, shaking people down for more money & people couldn't arrive or depart the resort or the island

Unfortunately we are stuck out here due to hurricane Melissa. We were put on lockdown and had to stay in our rooms for safety. Our flights were canceled and we needed to stay additional days and the fees was very high. In my opinion. Especially, since we were not able to use any of the normal accommodations due to weather conditions

Beautiful property, clean rooms and decent food for a resort. Only issue is if you booked through Expedia, you do not have access to the airport shuttle to the hotel, which is over an hour and 30 minutes away. Taxi from the airport to this hotel it’s over $100 one way so be mindful of shuttle options before you book.

My room was full of mold, in the AC unit and all the furniture. We got very sick during our stay there. I reached out to the front desk, but no one responded immediately, when I notified the housekeeper, she stated to me that they can put an air freshener in the AC vent and yet no one ever came back to assist us with that option. On our return home my roommates and I had to go to the emergency room. I'm seeking some type of compensation for my stay.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service

I experienced significant dissatisfaction with the customer service during my stay. Despite reserving a room with a garden view, my assigned room overlooked the building's roof. Upon raising this concern, I was informed that someone would contact me the following morning, a call that never materialized. Subsequent complaints to guest services were met with the instruction to check out by 12 PM and then wait until after 3 PM to check back in. This proposed solution was impractical given my pre-arranged daily schedule, which did not allow for such a disruption, especially considering I should have been provided with the correct room from the outset. Furthermore, a ceiling leak was present in my room from day one, which I reported for three consecutive days without resolution. The issue was only addressed on the night before my departure, at which point I declined the repair as it was no longer relevant. In the buffet area, I observed cockroaches on the tables, which was unsanitary. The room's decor was outdated, and the brown towels provided were abrasive. The food was the same each nigth majority of it was tasteless. I would come back to this Resort

The food delicious, but they never answered the phone for refill the minibar, get a blanket, when you ask for a alcoholic beverage, the servers tell you you have to go to the bar, which is stupid, whenever finally when to refill my mini bar gave us 2 beers, the worse service after paying so much not worth my money or time
