We had ants in the room, on the white desk, bathroom and floor. I showed the pictures and video of them to the front desk. Even so the room was cleaned after we complained, we still had ants in the room. We asked for a manager to contact me, but no one bothered to call me about that.

Location very good. Room clean. bed comfortable. staff let you feel welcomed. But the elevator was down for half the days we stayed which is difficult for nearly 90years old seniors in my group. Front desk did offer a room on first floor but we didn’t take because we wanted to stay together to help them. Valet parking is not convenient because the road at the door front is closed during holiday hours. When the road is open it will be convenient.

My friend and I checked in to the Penguin Hotel for a one night trip. Upon checking in we headed to the room to shower and get ready to go out. While taking a shower, the water shut off and was not turned back on for an hour and my friend had soap in her hair! When checking with the hotel front desk they said “No one let you know the water would be shut off?” We had checked in only less than an hour prior. We were not warned. This did end up wasting a lot of time for our one day trip. The room otherwise was clean, fairly dated.
