Definitely not on par with other Hilton properties we have stayed in. First we were given a room in the adjacent building which does not have an elevator and we had a 14 month old with a stroller which you can imagine was very difficult every time we left the room. The rooms were with paper thin walls so much so you could hear those above, below and outside your door. We booked an oceanfront room which alas, you cannot see the ocean. I guess that should be considered my own fault but still. We had no water pressure in the faucets making even brushing your teeth difficult. There were no rides offered to us when we approached the front desk for help going somewhere. And lastly we fell asleep listening to American 70s & 80s hits every night which was less than ideal. All in all I would not stay here again and really recommend it to young partying folks looking to stay right in Ocean Dr. Definitely not good for families.

The staff at the Gabriel was super friendly and helpful. A few tips: We took advantage of the beach chairs our first day - make note that an umbrella costs $20. The next day we used the shuttle to the Bayside Marketplace. It’s actually a Lyft they pay for, and it’s not round trip so you have to make arrangements to get back. The Wynwood Walls admission is paid back as a credit to your room, so you do have to pay for those upfront. I originally booked a king deluxe but we arrived early and a double queen was available so I took it. The room was tiny and with the connecting door it looked like it was probably used as a bedroom for a suite. For us it was perfect but it would definitely not work for more than 2 people. The room needed a little TLC overall but it was clean, the ac worked well, and the view was great. On our final day we didn’t depart until late evening, the hotel let use the amenities then had a hospitality room with a shower for clean up. We spent our last hour comfortably seated in the mezzanine which had books, games, charging ports, and a view of the beach. Overall it was a great stay.

The hotel was a beautiful property with an excellent location minutes walking distance to several stores the Beach restaurants I couldn't ask for a better vacation if I had to stay one drawback it would be that they were out of contract with the beach chair company so there were no beach chairs there but they did offer beach towels

The property is located in a perfect area for walking and dining at restaurants. the pool area is nice but a little small and the service is a bit slow. however the workers and the managers were very friendly and nice. for the price we paid it was well worth it.

We honestly were very happy there for 10 days, but our suite had no drawers for stashing your clothes, so we lived out of our suitcases for the whole time. Pool was nice, staff was delightful, food was excellent, nearby Ocean Drive restaurants were also fun and good.

No hot water in our room and our toilet very easily clogged. The room was super small and thankfully they did send someone fairly quickly to help with the toilet. We didn’t realize there was no hot water until we needed to shower quickly and leave on day of checkout. It is right in a busy area of Miami Beach across from the park and the staff were eager to help us in the restaurant but I would not recommend this property with it’s marginal amenities (no ice machine, small rooms and very loud music at night).

The hotel was wonderful, but the restaurant service and food was way below par. In fact one of the dishes, Lox and Bagel was so bad that it had to be sent back to avoid being sick. We eat out often and I cannot recall when we last had to send food back. The restaurant service was so bad. We had to ask for our coffee 3-4 times after the food arrived. They did take the coffees off the bill and didn’t charge for the Lox and Bagel. We were not looking for a bargain in price and that is also why we picked the Gabriel Hotel. Nice stay, but please go to one of the neighbor restaurants for food.
