The room as generally nice and spacious. But I was on the 11th floor and to get hot water in the shower it was about an 8-10 minute wait. Also, the room was next to the elevators which had terrible squeaking when the doors opened and closed. I asked the maintenance person to address it after they had to come to the room to investigate the hot water issue.

Airport shuttle was an absolute disaster. Waited and hour for it and when it came they said it was full and I'd have wait another 1/2 hour. Meanwhike the Marriot and Sheraton shuttles have gone by 3 or 4 times with ample space. I have stayed at this hotel multiple times before. Never again.

We arrived at 3:30 and were told we possibly would not have a room and would have to chech back at 4pm. We had already paid $400 for said room so this was highly disappointing. At 4pm we were able to check in but were told we needed an additional $30 forpatking or we could pay $7 an hour. This was not stated on the website. We booked the room for 4 people and it was suppose to include breakfast. We were told it would only cover breakfast for two people and we would have to pay $28 per person for the other two people. We went down to the pool and noticed there were no towels, i told the staff and they said just give them a minute. An hour later there were still no clean towels. We had to ask the front desk who again stated they would let house keeping know and that we would just have to wait. We have stayed at this hotel a few times and have always enjoyed our stay, i am not sure why everything fell through the cracks this time.

Airport shuttle process was OK once you're in the right place to be picked up at airport. Fast forward to check-in process at hotel. Easy breezy. The actual room was not as luxurious as the pictures and I booked the screened balcony room. The screened balcony is literally the ONLY reason I would rebook and that's a stretch. The toilet was clogged so within a hour of being there, I'm waiting for maintenance to come snake toilet. The bed itself is comfortable and the shower is TOP TIER. The trash cans have no bag in them...the furniture is quite outdated and the balcony furniture definitely isn't comfortable. But the privacy and views make it acceptable. The actual location of hotel is close to airport BUT not walking distance to the restaurants. You CAN walk but on a hot day and a good 5-10 mile walk...you'll rethink that. The hotel restaurant is wildly expensive and they stress CASHLESS throughout their hotel overall. Parking is $30 per night and the security deposit is $150 per room. Staff I didn't have an issue with so overall my experience and lodging experience was a 6/10. The screened balcony and shower make up those 6 points. The outdoor pool and lounge area is beautiful, clean and great for pictures.

Airport shuttle was easy to find. Hotel was clean with friendly staff. I will most definitely stay here again in the future when flying in to Miami.
