The daily breakfast offerings were always different, which provided great variety and gave you a true taste of Ghana. That was a highlight of my stay. The staff overall were wonderful, friendly, and welcoming, and I would definitely return.
The pool area itself was nice and relaxing; however, there was a noticeable smell of garbage coming from a nearby field filled with trash that was visible from the area. It would greatly improve the guest experience if the hotel added some attractive décor to block that view and make the space more appealing.
That said, there are a few other areas I believe could be improved. First, the restaurant charges for bottled water, even though it is complimentary in the rooms, which felt inconsistent. Also, during breakfast, if you request a juice outside of what is offered that day—especially due to allergies—you are charged extra, which seems unreasonable.
Lastly, I had an issue at checkout. I paid my bill in full, but while I was at the airport about to board my flight, I received a message stating that I had been undercharged and still owed money. I was sent an invoice to pay immediately. While I did pay the amount they claimed I owed, it was frustrating and confusing that this was not identified at checkout. It also felt a bit insulting, as I take pride in paying my bills honestly and on time.
Overall, it was a good experience, but better communication, improved surroundings, and more accurate billing processes would make a difference.
