Absolutely lovely staff. The beds, pillows and linen are super comfy. Amazing breakfast buffet. The food in the pool side bar and inside bar could be improved. And the windows of the building could be cleaned.

This is my second time staying here. Last time I was with my entire family we had a connecting room. This time it was just me and my daughter. I liked that the lobby was really aesthetically pleasing. I would like for them to work on the cleanliness and smells in the bathroom. They need to be using a stronger cleaning agent for the bathrooms. They also need to scrub the tiles daily. Other than that which is huge they would have gotten more stars. This was my feedback last time. Clearly no one is really reading. While I liked the property I think I will give Kempinsky a try next time. But Moevenpick was nice. I would recommend someone to stay here if it is their first time in Ghana. Work on the bathroom cleanliness and they would be top tier. The staff was very attentive. Issac was great also Whilomena at the reception areas very sweet and helpful. The dinning staff very nice as well. The two that worked the omlet station in the morning super nice. One of the servers did not get her name but she wore cool glasses and had a short hair cut very nice and attentive to me and my daughter kudos to the dining staff.

Hillary at the front desk was wonderful. She was accommodating, professional, and welcoming. Phyllis and the woman who managed the omelette station were among my favorite staff. They operated from a space of care and every day upon my return it was clear that I was being “seen.” Apart from those few, I realized quickly that this hotel caters to professional clients. All other staff operated almost like robots, as did the hotel dwellers here for business. Had I known in advance, I would have chosen a resort for my holiday. I often felt like asking questions or for support - like when my room was so humid you could see the outline of footprints in moisture on the floor - that I was a hindrance. That situation was never resolved. Someone from the hotel came, felt and saw the evidence of the humidity and sent a tech up. Thank you. The tech guy said it was the thermostat. I tried to explain that as soon as he changed it, an hour later it would revert back but he didn’t listen. So I slept one more night in a humid room because I was too exhausted to call down again. Ghana was amazing and this hotel is definitely right for people in town for business. I do not recommend it for people in town for holiday.
