It was a pity that my reservation was cancelled as I arrived one day later. They said they had sent a message , but this wasn't the case. So had to make a whole new reservation , I find this not service minded.

Pay for 3 rooms to be told no booking

I got to the hotel with two customers from the UK, i was told there was no rooms booked for us, i showed the receptionist my booking, and he said there was no booking for me, asked me to send the details to him on the phone as he didn't have any booking and the hotel was full with no rooms available. We has to wait half an hour trying to proof i had 3 rooms booked for my clients and myself. Really embarrassing for myself even though i could show the booking and it was paid for through Hotels.com. In the end the receptionist got a call from head office to say they had found my booking after he had called them I have used Hotels.com many times and on many trips, but no more, was terrible to be left standing for so long with my customers, i have also used this hotel over many years, i will leave a review on the Hotel website when i get a chance, and not use Hotels.com again.

Muy buena opción para estar cerca del aeropuerto Adolfo Suarez Baraja. Elemento a destacar el amplio buffet que sirven para el desayuno. Ofrecen transportación al aeropuerto por 5€ por persona, lo que me parece muy buena opción, un Uber puede costar un poco mas. Nuestra única queja es respecto a la habitación, sentimos un poco de mal olor proveniente del baño, también se escuchaba en ocasiones el ruido del agua correr proveniente del drenaje. En sentido general la habitación estaba muy bien equipada, amplia y bien iluminada. Eñ Baño muy bonito y bastante cómodo. El staff muy agradable y prestos a ayudar en todo momento.

This was our second time staying at this hotel and for the location, it is a good choice. The breakfast is good and the staff very friendly. 10 min walk to the nearest metro station. Our only issue was carried over from the first stay where we had to change rooms due to the overwhelming sewer smell coming from the bathroom pipes, this stay it was still noticeable but not bad enough to need a room change. We also may have been next to a smoking room as the smell entered the bathroom strongly. We also found that the bed and pillows were not very comfortable and it was difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature in the room, we slept with the patio door open to cool down.

Los trabajadores del hotel son todos muy amables y atentos a cualquier necesidad. Muy buena limpieza y todo luce en bastante buen estado. La habitación pequeña pero acogedora, con balcón y vista a la ciudad. Un numero reducido de toallas en el baño pero razonable. Por un razonable costo de 5 Euros por persona ofrecen transportación hasta el aeropuerto. Desayunamos en la cafeteria y la oferta es bien completa y la chica que nos atendió fue muy amable.

Near to terminal 1

Reasonable choice to be fairly close to the airport. We had to wait a while for the minibus transfer to the hotel from the airport but it was worthwhile as it would have been a long walk in the rain. When we booked, the information we were given stated that transfer back to the airport was free and the hotel honoured this but apparently there is now a charge for this.

Good value

I stay at the Senator when I’m in Madrid. It’s close to the airport and to the Metro. The breakfast is very good as is the food in the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable not luxurious but good value.

I stayed in one of their executive rooms which are newly refurbished. My stay was very comfortable- I liked the small touches included eg hair straighteners in the bathroom, a working desk with natural daylight and plenty of charging points. It was a short taxi ride from the airport although they do offer a free shuttle which you must book ahead of your arrival. It also stops at 3pm. Staff were helpful and although there are a couple of restaurants I only used the services of Latitude - again the food was good portion and well prepared.

The bed was against the wall, which was weird. The worst part about the stay was the AC was on at 15 degrees Celsius as it was hot in the room (even for January) and it was blowing out heat. It got so hot in our room in the middle of the night. I had to shut it off and open the sliding glass door. On good note, we used their airport shuttle service, they have lots of food choices from the restaurants and the bathroom was nice. My sesame seed salmon was delicious!
