The staff was nice, and the breakfast was good. They offered a variety of pastries and breakfast burritos as well as yogurt along with coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The walls were a little thin, so I could hear my neighbor, but it wasn't too bad.

The staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast was alright for what it was and the area was not ideal. It was not the best area and there wasn't much around. The room was not very clean, most places where coated in dust, there were smears on some surfaces.The beds were just tolerable. We had gone to go to Universal and had come back late at night and found there was basically no parking and had to park in the shared parking lot of a different business that we were told it was alright but had been an issue with that business before, so there as a concern of being towed. I don't think we will be staying again.

My stay at The Sojourn- Los Angeles was thoroughly enjoyable. The room was impeccably clean, well-appointed, and maintained to a high standard. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and thoughtful amenities added to the overall convenience and comfort. Staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers seeking a peaceful and pleasant stay. I didn’t take any pictures, however, the pictures in Expedia are exactly what the rooms look like.

Hotel filled with prostitution, drugs, and people yelling. Cops were there twice. Air conditioner was loud and turned on and off incessantly. Impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Staff was friendly though

Not sure how this hotel or really motel is getting 8.1 reviews. The rooms are mediocre, requested ground floor over two months before the trip and of course when we arrived we were told no ground floor available. No amenities in the room like coffee for example, ice machine inconveniently located by the pool, weird. Were put in a room with NO cold water, yep, only hot and hotter. AC in that room was terrible. Moved to another room, no help from staff as it was a weekend. Second room had cold AC and water which was nice and expected. Would not stay here again, didn’t feel safe. Would not recommend.

Fun stay

The Sojourner is a fun place to stay. The pool was fun for the teens and the breakfast assortment will get you to lunch. It is continental and light with bottled drinks to go. The rooms are comfortable, standard size, but basic to the era that the hotel projects: no microwave, coffee maker in room and trash (except the bathroom) goes outside in well placed corridor bins. Parking is easy and I found the hotel well located and quiet given the potential noise. Not silent, but quiet and we were able to sleep well. The front staff desk were helpful and kind. I liked the simplicity and that it was true to its style. I would stay here again.
