For the price you pay it’s perfect, if you are after 5 star this is not for you, just spent 10 nights at Melasti room was comfortable, room cleaned, fresh sheets and towels everyday.. breakfast was included with enough variety for the price you pay… staff lovely and friendly, great location on the beach

Unhelpful with concerns of room allocation, wouldn’t refund our 10nights booking. Was told in check in no other rooms available, once we decided to move hotels told there was a different room. Overall poor form for melasti, the resort should just close

Location is great. Staff are lovely and helpful. Hotel needs updating especially the bathrooms. Could do with more pool lounges and the cushions desperately need replacing, a lot had black mouldy stuff on them

The only thing that is good about the Melasti is the location. Gardens are over grown, everything is dirty and there were ants crawling all over the disgusting breakfast that looked like it had been sitting there for 2 years.

The property is NOT fit for human inhabitants…dangerously mouldy, dirty, main swim up pool very dirty n mouldy.. ALL water connected to hotel is SALT, (as discussed with management) 3 room changes, to get a flashing toilet. The pictures are not true of the Resort, no play area for kids..very run down.. Breakfast…hmmm if you happy with eggs not a problem, sausages served once a week (no bacon at all) we ate there 3 mornings out of 6, gardens are no longer maintained (except for the entrance) Seriously don’t waste your money on this run down filthy Resort

This place was run down, gardens overgrown, rats by the pool area, only half lights and power points worked in the room. Floors were filthy. Sheets had holes in them. Towels stained. Air conditioning sub par. Rooms needed painting. Windows did not open so rooms smelt stale. Toilet broke and took 3 calls to get fixed only to have it flood and then explode.Toilet water all over the place! In room phone didn’t work. I left 5 days early. I tried to get a refund on day 1 after looking at 3 rooms, no surprise, they said no. By day 5 after the toilet business i had to leave. I lost so much money. The worst hotel and experience ever. Looked nothing like the pictures. I am surprised that Expedia has anything to do with this place. Unhygienic and unhealthy.
