The property was in a great location. Had an attached bar and deli right across street. The only thing I would change we had a very nice sized room but our tv was too small for that size of room. Other than that wonderful place to stay

this is an older beach property, not the $800 a night classy places, its convenient and everything in the area is walkable. parking is good for staying. Good continental breakfast and coffee in AM! folks very friendly. this was the 3rd time we stayed!

Nice Winter Get-Away

Southwinds is an old beach motel located near the beach and the Southernmost Point. It's away from all the hustle of Duval Street but still a close walk to get to restaurants and bars. If you are looking for the Hilton, this isn't your place to stay, it's clean but not fancy. It could use some updating, beds are of average comfort, pillows are just okay, continental breakfast was adequate. The pools are nice, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to have a liquor store and bar on premise. Free parking. We would stay there again.

Love Southwinds

The staff was most friendly and courteous. They made some eating recommendations that were spot on. Quiana and Karen were so cordial upon our arrival and departure. Will definitely recommend Southwinds to family and friends who plan a trip down.
