Overall we enjoyed ourselves. Our first room had several issues. You could see right through to the toilet and we had to leave the room when the other went to the bathroom lol. A lot of the drawers and furniture were pretty beat up, but overall things are very clean. We had a Jacuzzi suite, but there was little to no privacy. The curtains didn’t even close all the way and we faced the road and until about 2 o’clock in the morning, trucks were driving by delivering room service and it was very loud. We decided to move to a cabana. It was much better although the outside shower had no hot water. And if you did not get a cabana that was towards the middle, people staying in the rooms across from you to look down straight into your shower. Room service was good, but sometimes it took a few calls to get things taken care of. So many pushy rambling sales pitches. They were always trying to up charge or offer packages. We somehow got suckered into a “welcome breakfast” upon arrival where we ended up in a two hour sales pitch and we’re desperate to get out of it, but they just kept talking so that sucked up a huge part of our first morning. But, the pools were great. The bars were great, and most of the people were very friendly with the exception of a few. The resort shuttles were great. The food was good, but not exceptional. The butler service is nice. You need your phone with you everywhere which sucks, all menus are digital.
