This is very much a truck stop area. The hotel is in the same parking lot as a truck stop/gas station in an industrial area. Didnt exactly feel super safe as there were ALWAYS tractor trailers around as well as extra people at all hours.

This was our first stay at TRU and we were impressed. Our room was clean and well designed - no carpet was a plus - and the bed was comfortable. We were pretty close to the highway but soundproofing was great so we had a good night's sleep. The check-in and check-out staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast had good protein choices. We will definitely search out TRU again when traveling.

The person that checked me in really helped me out. He got me checked in a bit earlier than check in time, which I really appreciated. The lobby is awesome looking, but other than that, I hated my stay here, and it pains me to say that. The HVAC system was awful. Every time I would set the room temperature on the wall to 70 degrees, the A/C would kick on, when the room hit 70, the heater would kick on and bring the room temperature back up to 75. I don't understand why this would be set that way? It's totally ridiculous. I got horrible sleep due to that. The gym is nice, has a lot of decent equipment to use, but again, was 86 degrees. Why on earth is it 86 degrees in the gym and the HVAC system is locked up so guests can't adjust it. The corners of the room I was in had dirt/debris and it was not super clean. The bathroom was alright and the bed was alright. Would not stay again.
