Room looked clean except for an old coffee pack still in the coffeemaker, but the room smelled horrible. Went to the front desk to make sure I wouldn't be charged for the marijuana smell. They had no deodorizer. Next morning for breakfast they had no water, water fountain by bathroom was dirty, $2 for water at the front desk, no creamer for coffee, no sugar substitute.

Ok but not great.

We stayed in a different Comfort Inn that was fantastic, so were expecting the same. This one wasn't bad, but it had a funny smell to it that made us think people were not obeying the No Smoking signs. There were also No Pets signs everywhere, yet when waiting for the elevator, a woman came out of her room with a massive, very poorly behaved dog. Our room smelled bad too, but luckily we happened to have a can of air freshener in our car. The breakfast was what we were expecting though, and it was conveniently located next to a couple restaurants, which was good since we couldn't find a room service menu in the room.

As soon as we entered to the lobby we were received with a strong scent that irritated our throat and we started to cough. The property is old. The carpet in the room had a big red spot. The room smelled like cigarette. The location is kind of unsafe. We couldn’t sleep at all. I don’t recommend this place.

I found three live roaches in the first room. I found another live roach the following morning in the second room. Truly gross. There is also a strong smell of a mix of air freshener and pot. I would avoid this hotel.

My honest experience.

Pros The room was clean and comfortable. Con’s The breakfast was bare bones and I like my coffee with sugar-free sweetener which they did not have. Handle on shower door was falling off. Desk clerk barely spoke English. Someone in the hallway yelling at 3AM interrupted our sleep.

This property was reasonably priced, quiet, very clean and had a nice breakfast with choices like waffles, omelets, sausages, biscuits, hard boiled eggs, cereals, and various breads, including bagels. Also offered apples. Choice of apple or orange juice. I would definitely stay again.

A problem for CHOICE

I stayed in 16 Comfort Inns this year. Hotels.com is unlikely to publish this review. Illegal activities witness by myself and three others. Desk clerk claimed because of security issues she is forced to escort people to their rooms via a series of locked glass security doors. Would not provide room keys, and even paid pet fee, she said leaving the hotel at any time requires calling her for your room to be unlocked and escorted out of building. This is not a joke. The airport area has no flights apparently at night and weekends and area s high crime and abandoned. Unsupervised children in halls at 3am while mom entertains. I have photos but will not post them now, but if there are legal actions I will produce them.
