As a young Canadian couple, we definitely felt the mood was a little old-school and maybe not as warm as anticipated.
Nothing was wrong with our stay, it simply didn’t feel as cool or luxurious as we would have liked. Also, very few foreigners were staying at the hotel.
The room was spacious and we enjoyed the private tatami room and private onsen bath with a great view on Ito
Be careful: guest with tattoos can’t access the communal onsen.
The private onsen in our room was well designed and so wonderful to have. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. Wonderful Japanese style buffet breakfast was included for us. We loved this hotel.
We enjoyed the stay at Laforet Ito. We booked a room with private bath and the experience was great. The dinner and breakfast were impressive. We could tell that the hotel and chefs put in lots of effort to ensure that the guests are well fed. Overall, I think this is a great hotel for a vacation.
I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Laforet Ito Onsen Yunoniwa! The Ito area is so lush and green, it was a treat just getting to the hotel. We booked a room with a private onsen and it was really nice to not worry about going to/coming from the public onsen with all my stuff, but being able to just hop in whenever I wanted, whether that's super early before I head out, or super late after a day of adventure. me and my partner were also able to soak and relax together which we would not be able to do in the public onsen. The tatami room was very relaxing to eat and watch TV in after a soak in the onsen. The area around the hotel is very safe and walkable. There are plenty of small, unique and intimate restaurants and bakeries nearby. The laundry machines were easy to use. A great place to stay for a relaxing time!
The western-Japanese hybrid room was excellent, nice option to sleep on a western bed while still enjoying Japanese flair. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't dine there because we arrived late in the evening. It was convenient to the station.
The hotel vibe was weird and they wanted over 16,000 yen for breakfast. That being said, the room was incredible. We had a private hot tub. The public house was awesome. They had a reflexology pool by the lobby that was so great. We were a walk away from the beach and Joint (a very cool local brewery). I would stay here again!!
The staff are so friendly and accommodating to the guests. This hotel is amazing and is the perfect location for a weekend away. The premium room was fantastic!
Very nice property with accommodating staff. The rooms were very nice with the ability to soak in the in-room furo. Would recommend staying here if you're in Ito!
