An amazing stay in the villa. Would absolutely recommend

Bed was ver hard and uncomfortable. Room cramped. Black mouldy looking areas in the bathroom with a faint sewage smell. Noisy toilet noise after flushing. The room was quiet and inexpensive but would not stay there again.

Good value stay, with an ok breakfast. Our only complaints were the beds were a bit small, and you could only get heating to run for 2 hours maximum. Our room was like a fridge when we arrived at 9pm. We got it comfortable by 11pm, then realised at midnight we were freezing as the heating had cut out, so we had to turn lights on and reset the timer for another two hours of heat. All felt a bit Dickensian. Reception seemed a bit grumpy when we arrived, but check in was otherwise ok. Breakfast manager was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine for a freebie.

I'm disappointed with our recent hotel experience. We booked a relaxing birthday trip for my wife, but the hotel was crowded with unmanaged children and noisy guests. The pool was unmonitored, and my wife was injured by a ball. The staff seemed overwhelmed and didn't manage the crowd effectively. Expected better service from Marriott and plan to raise this issue with them.

Good parking, pub and food next door, outdoor shopping centre 10 minutes walk as well as the metro train station to the city centre.
