Outdated or charming?

It is outdated but we honestly like the vibe it had and wish we had been able to book more nights but they were booked out. Only thing we did not like is that it's close to everything which means you can hear everything at night. Don't recceomend staying here on the weekends,

I was shocked at how bad this place was, considering the reviews were 7/10. It was awful! The room had a horrible smell, we found trash (bottle caps and plastic) around the bed and in the shower, rust and dirt everywhere. The box springs had black stains all over them. The kitchen looked dirty and sketchy. The worst part though was how LOUD it was. You could hear everything. I was woken up like 20 times that night by cheers from a nearby bar, cars, doors, people in rooms nearby, etc. I’ve never given a review before and usually find places decent, but this one was truly the worst place I’ve ever stayed. The one positive is how close it is to the beach. They also had really nice, thick bath towels.

Shabby but handy

We arrived late, so we were happy to have a comfortable, clean bed to sleep in. The room was pretty old and shabby, so don't expect luxury. However, the bed was comfortable, everything worked, it was cheaper than most other hotels in the area, and it was just 2 blocks from Waikiki beach, which was very handy. We parked at the Banyan parking garage a couple blocks away for $43 for 24 hours.

Two stars for location only….

The a/c was so old and noisy we actually had to turn it off. The room extremely dated. No deadbolt for door. A chain that was not secure and a twist lock for a very loose door. The room overlooked a busy street but because we couldn’t use the a/c to drown out the noise, we could not sleep all night. Barely a roll of toilet paper to last a single night. Will not ever stay here again or recommend to anyone else.
