The room was not the way the pictures show. The rooms are small and the bathroom was even smaller. Was being bite by something in the room. Reported it to front desk and also asked for a new room on Thursday and Saturday and i knew someone wasn’t in the room next to me and i was denied. The front desk employees were nice. Room was hot n ac didn’t work properly. Outlets didn’t work.

The staff was rude and unreasonable when it came to having guests. They even went as far as told my boss that he couldn't have any guests at all. The room was a closet everything packed in the small space that they refrigerator and microwave was jammed in the oddest corner to where the tv was in a uncomfortable angle that you could barely see from the bed. And the tv speaker was blown out and when I asked if we could change into a room with a working tv they simply said no with no explanation what's so ever. The bathroom for how small it was was actually niceish

Clean rooms everyday, super friendly staff, coffee bar was great. Staff was always there to give towels and always welcomed you. TV didnt work, could have been due to weather. Shower was a little finicky but once you learned it, it was easy. Would stay again.

Very clean hotel!! We loved the small cozy room. The location was fantastic!!! Close to everything! Beach is 2 min walk. Lots of great dining nearby. Staff was absolutely amazing!!! We will stay here again.

The room was decent, albeit dated, with no major issues, other than some street noise on some nights. It is quite expensive for what you get, although I won't hold this against the property too much, as expensive accomodation is obviously the norm in Hawaii. In the grand scheme of things, this is cheap compared to most other properties in Hawaii. Most of the staff were very nice and hospitable, with one exception. One of the male cleaners was quite rude when I was trying to figure out the laundry situation. Essentially, the property only has two washing machines available for guests, to service the entire building. These are hidden away at the back of the property in the staff area. As these washing machines were in use when I went to go use them, the cleaner rudely told me to go away and come back when the cycles were complete. As there is nowhere nearby to wait for the machines to become free, when I came back, someone else had put their laundry in the machine. Once again, the cleaner rudely told me to come back. This system could definitely do with improving, and this cleaner could learn a thing or two about customer service. Overall though, my stay was good, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for budget accomodation in Hawaii. Just be prepared to accept that it won't be the best experience you've ever had, but it will give you a good base to explore Hawaii, especially being based in the central location of Waikiki.
