The room was very tidy and clean. Staff was great and had the Aloha spirit ! Very handy that beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and floaties were avail for us to tote to the beach which is less than a block away ! The coffee bar is a big thumbs up! The free laundry option came in handy when I needed to dry my brand new Hawaii beach towel I had purchased and used in conjunction with those available at the front desk. Had I not used the dryer for my towel I’d have had to pack it wet into my suitcase !! I personally plan on staying here again !

Staff was very courteous. Room and hotel in general was not as advertised. Advertisement on Expedia was misleading to say the least. Area was traffic and construction loud and the bar downstairs went late. No shuttle from airport. Prepaid stay but upon arrival we were presented with an unexpected $180 USD Amenities charge I now understand why you get 5 free nights. Overall I would Not recommend 😒

Room is clean, stuff is great. The hotel is near a hotel construction site and it is very noisy in the morning. Trush truck comes early in the morning and it is noisy too. A bar on the 1/F operates unitl 2:00am. If you want to hear people sing, you can choose a room on the 2/F. So I would recommend to book any room 4/F or up. Free coffee in lobby is a plus. parking space is limited and it is $45 per night. Some guests just blocked the exit when the garage is overparked.

Booked a stay for 5 nights but left after the first night. Dirty bathroom upon arrival, tiny room- could barely move around in it and felt very claustrophobic, loud city noise ...not worth the cheaper rate in my opinion.

Hotel staff very personable and helpful. Room was very small but clean. Beds comfortable. Very welcoming with personal note of greeting & complimentary box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Note: the bathroom door to my room, 509, did not fully open. Perhaps a carpenter could plane down the door to make it fit.

I had a great time at Stay Waikiki. The location was perfect right next to Waikiki beach. The staff was friendly & the hotel was maintained and clean. They also had free laundry available as well as beach towels. Daily room service was provided and they respected the do not disturb sign. I will definitely be booking here again.

The room was quite old and could definitely use a refresh. The cleanliness was acceptable. The staff was incredible, very helpful and welcoming but I was surprised by the additional 15$ added for every night stayed which added up to quite a bit for « amenities » (towels to bring to the beach, access to laundry which we used once, coffee or tea in the lobby which we don’t drink, wi-fi which did not work in our room and we asked everyday and they told us they would do something about it but it never got better…) I’d rather pay for laundry if and when I need it than get a surprise charge for things we don’t use or didn’t work. On a more positive note, it was really well situated near the beach, bus stops, restaurants and stores.
