The room we booked turned out to be a ADA room. Only realized this after we checked in. The ADA was only mentioned after reading all the descriptions on Expedia rather than making it obvious in the room title. This room was quite uncomfortable for us since neither of us required such consideration. When the hotel saw we booked through Expedia, we were treated like outcasts with no one willing to help us make any sort of changes, while many guests around us were making changes and upgrades seemlessly. This will be the last time we ever book through Expedia.

Highly recommended. The room is clean with a lot of great amenities upon request. The pool has great view. If you have kids, request for a pair of kids slippers. I am amazed by the high quality provided by the hotel.

Everything was perfect. The first person we met was RJ at the bell desk. He made us feel at home and was very helpful. And so was our maid Cel, mahalo nui loa! There is Halekulani bakery down in the corner of the building. Their croissants were unique, make sure you go there for a coffee. We didn't try the restaurant of the hotel because there were so many options around. The pool and hot tub are nice and the pool boy makes us feel very welcome. There is laundry service but you can also do it yourself for $4.50 washer and $4.50 dryer. Detergent at the front desk for $2 or buy your own in convenient store.
