Book Harper hotels

The stay was not good. The hotel was definitely older but had been renovated but the room was very dirty. Dead bugs on the floor and in the bed sheets. There was a lot of hair on the sheets as well as bugs and the sheets had stains. The pillows were very old and yellowed. The floor had a lot of dust and other debris that wasn’t cleaned especially around the sliding door to the bathroom. The shampoo dispenser was hanging off the wall about to fall off. The body wash was empty and the simply put another bottle at the side of the bathtub both bothering to replace the dispenser. The exterior door had a large gap between it and the frame, probably where all the bugs were coming from. The A/C system is very old and smelled of mildew. If it hadn’t been for arriving nearly at 10pm I probably would have complained and left but I wasn’t finding other availability in the area and decided to stay. I definitely won’t be booking here in the future.

The advertisement for our room did not say it was a shared bath house, so though we would have a toilet at least. We had small cottage that was nice if it had a res area. Other than that the property, pool, hot tub and views were great. Unfortunately we left early due to the need of a toilet at night.

Our room faced the main road, so we could hear the traffic. I would ask for a more interior room. The location is great. The room had everything we needed. They provide an excellent breakfast. We were much impressed by it.

We checked in on a Sunday and checked out on a Monday. Our room, although beautiful, smelled old and musty…likely due to the wooden ceilings and the age of hotel. They gave you shampoo, but no conditioner in room. The toilet was small, like what you would see in a children’s room. And the morning of checkout, there was no breakfast because their restaurant was closed. That being said, we loved the beautiful architect of the building, the pool, and the surroundings. It felt as if we stepped back in time, when going to a hotel meant something more that a bed and tv. The service was great, waitstaff was friendly, and we will definitely return should we get the chance.

Outstanding experience! Stayed in the Monolith unit … the feeling of sleeping in the trees was wonderful! Loved relaxing in the hot tub at night while enjoying the star filled sky! The staff was so very helpful. On a scale of 1 to 5 I rate it a10. It exceeded my expectations… I will absolutely stay here again!!
