The location is excellent and the two swimming pools and outdoor area are really nice and great for the kids. Our bathroom was in bad need of remodel, the bathtub had a huge stain on the bottom, as well as mold on the wall. The shower water had barely any pressure, and the light kept flickering. That alone makes me not want to stay here in the future…

No cool water in bath/shower

The room was comfortable, and it was very clean, but we could not get the cool water to work in the shower; there we took very hot ones. I would return, but first thing I'll do when walking in the room is check that bath and shower water to make sure they are adjustable.

Awesome location

Hotel is in a great location. Less than 5 minute walk to Main street. They have a wonderful outdoor area with lots of table and a cozy fireplace. Rooms could use a little face lift.

Our room had the following top features for me: The room was spacious. It had Kleenex tissues. It had a magnifying makeup mirror. The tv was large. The air conditioner worked fine. The bed was fine. The plantation shutters kept morning light at bay.

Property is in a really great part of town and very walkable. The WiFi didn’t work at all and our AC unit in room 239 would cut off multiple times during the night and get hot until it was reset.

This is a nice motel for a night or two. Bed was just a tad soft for me. The pillows were way to soft. Amenities are nice. Free breakfast, coffee. I was one the first floor. You could hear every footstep from the floor above. Don't recommend staying on the first floor.

We arrived mid-week later in the afternoon. There was plenty of parking. When I arrived to check in, the front desk person seemed upset and frustrated. I asked for recommendations around the area, which annoyed her. If you have never been to Fredericksburg, be aware that most of the stores and restaurants either close super early (around 5pm) or are not open during the week. We dropped off our stuff in our 1 bedroom king bed suite and we immediately went to go check out the town. After a couple of hours checking out the town we came back to setup for bedtime. Our kids were going to sleep on the pull out. As we "pull out" the mattress we were greeted with a bunch of bugs. They were either bed bugs or lice, either way we were not going to let our kids sleep there. We immediately check the king bed for bugs, and sure enough we found the same little black bugs. We called the front desk to notify them and I was reunited with the lovely and totally not annoyed front desk lady. I told her of our discovery and she questioned my sanity. I offered for her to come and take a look and she said it doesn't matter. I asked if maybe they can move us to another room, she declined. I asked if she could replace the mattresses, she declined. I then asked what options she can give me. She said, I could go to another hotel or I can try to get a refund. I had just driven 4 hours to get here, I'm tired and just want to sleep. I called expedia and after an hour I eventually got a refund.
