We actually did not stay because once we saw the hotel, we did not want to spend the night. The hotel was rundown and dirty.

Staff was incredibly friendly. Across the street from Cracker Barrel which was perfect bc the dinner was closed. Breakfast was tasty though my husband was looking forward to his tortilla coming with his Huevos Ranchero. Ex chef so can be critical. It was, however, tasty. Rooms could stand an update but very clean.

The staff were very nice, but due to a mistake during check-in, I was assigned a room where the current occupant had extended their stay. This led to some confusion when trying to enter the room. Still, the staff were able to relocate me to a different room and were very apologetic, also offering a complimentary breakfast buffet.

The executive king room was spacious and clean. The bed needs replacing. It was very worn out. It was so uncomfortable. We were given a room that was at the back and faced a run down courtyard. Staff was friendly. Breakfast buffet was delicious.

The hotel is very quaint and rustic. Front desk staff very nice. The hotel floors are dirty. Carpeted areas very warn. The bathroom was not very clean (hair around the floor of the toilet). Rust "drips" down the bathroom mirror. Windows not sealed/air flows through like a fan on low.

Main Lobby and restaurant were very nice. Did not eat breakfast. As far as safety concern the outside doors to each building, we were in Pecos, is not locked so anyone can come into the hallways.

Motorcycle ride

Hotel is old. I think in the process of selling. No free breakfast. You pay $$ for standard food you get free at other hotels. Conference was there and we had no place to park. No one cared.
