We love the front desk and restaurant staff here. Always so friendly and make a point to interact with our kids. Delta’s are always nice and this one is no exception! Nice bed, pool with slide, room service, can’t really ask for more. For some reason, every time we stay, there’s a long wait for breakfast in the restaurant. They seem understaffed or unprepared. But it’s only in the mornings for some reason. That aside this is one of our favourite places to stay in Dartmouth.

We were a little disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in our room and in some of the amenities. One of our bed duvets was full of orange and red/brown stains. There was no cover on the duvet just a white sheet over it. We went to the pool area in the morning to find the hot tub had some kind of an orange brown residue all around the sides of the tub and throughout the bubbles. There were a few bandaids also scattered about the pool deck. I returned to our room to shower and found the mounted shampoo bottle in the shower was missing. The body wash however was a nice fragrance and left my skin feeling nourished. After forgetting to grab a plastic bag from the pool area for our wet suits, I reached for the one provided with the ice bucket in our room only to find a half eaten chocolate bar from the guests who stayed prior to us inside the bucket. The trip had originally started off on a bad note when the hotel called me just before check in time to let me know the cot we had reserved that morning would not longer be available to us and seemed to not be aware that it had been confirmed and promised to us that morning. After some back and forth they were able to afford us a cot. It was certainly not comfortable for lack of better words but it kept us off the floor. Not sure if we’ll stay again.

Disappointed

I recently stayed at this hotel and was quite disappointed with several aspects of my visit. First, I was surprised there was no free breakfast available, which is a standard amenity at many hotels. Additionally, the room doors were extremely loud; I was repeatedly disturbed by the noise throughout the night. On my floor, a guest left their room multiple times during the middle of the night, and every time I was awakened by the sound of a door slamming—even though I understand it likely wasn’t intentional. Finally, the parking area was extremely cramped, making it difficult to park comfortably. Overall, these issues significantly affected my stay, and I hope management takes steps to address them for future guests.
