Getting chairs at the pool was a mess. They valve the day pool resort pass guest over those staying over nights. Added our name to the pool chair wait list and had to wait hours for a chair around the pool.

The room size wasqz amazing, especially with 2 toddlers! I loved being able to walk directly onto the beach with no worries about crossing any street. The lazy river was small but a nice feature for both kids and adults. Some aspects of the hotel needed fixing, floor of lazy river had rough spots with no warnings not to walk. Rooms could have been better cleaned, there was visible food and sand on the floor that could have easily been vacuumed, and there were not enough towels for the amount of guests they had over a busy weekend. We had to use our room towels for the pool, when we asked for more room towels they said yes but never brought any.

A beautiful property right on the beach. Amazing balcony views. Pool and beach areas do get a bit crowded. And although the pelican’s on premise restaurants are nice and really good, there areno nice restaurants or coffee shops within walking distance.

Everything was great however the pool was overrun by iguanas and not many people could sit at the pool because they were scared of them. They need to do something about that. People were talking about it not in a good way otherwise everything was great.

Beautiful resort in Fort Lauderdale

Good hotel in a safe and quiet area of Fort Lauderdale. It was our third time here. Beautiful & spacious rooms (we absolutely love Pelican's oceanfront suite), decent pool area & good breakfast. Hotel staff is polite and helpful. It's not a cheap resort, but you get what you've paid for.

Hotel is nice, right at the beach, im goving 4 stars rating instrsd of 5 mainly ,because i had a bad resolved sotuation by the duty manager when asking for a towel for the beach which was not a great hospitality answer nor treat to me.

The staff was very nice but the room is not worth the money. A broken window from my room that was siliconed repaired and the common areas are filthy. You needed to jiggle the toilet handle for the water to stop running. There are nicer hotels on the strip that I would have rather stayed in and probably cleaner.

I was looking for a hotel that we could check in and go to the beach, pool, and eat without leaving and this was absolutely perfect! The pool and lazy river was clean and fun (kids loved it). The pool attendants were helpful. The beach was lovely - big waves/warm water. Loved the lounge chairs and got drinks brought to us by putting a little flag up. We ate in the ocean2000 as well as the bar/lounge and almost all meals outside. We had a “city view room” on the 7th floor. It was nice and roomy. Only word of caution is that with the resort fees, valet parking fees, high priced meals, it really adds up! Still - 100% with it! My husbands only complaint was there’s nothing really to walk to nearby. It’s a strip of road with hotels and condos. Would definitely go back!!
