The lady who sits at the front desk is very unfriendly, the beds are saggy, we had no soap in the bathroom, and no paper towels. People loitered out by our room during the night with a yapping little dog, and they were smoking pot.

Let me start off that I rarely post any negative comments on any place I’ve ever stayed. The room was in very poor condition. There was a distinct musty odor. The furnishings were in poor condition. There was an open garbage bag with overflowing garbage outside our room the entire visit. The bed had a foam topper and had large dips in it and was noticeably higher at the foot than the head. I have photos if you’d like them posted.

Friendly staff, the rooms are roomie, but the remote for the TV had dead batteries. The remote for the safe had dead batteries. There was a drawer missing in the kitchen just not updated overall. But got a good rate in a short two day notice on coming into Fort Lauderdale because of a flight change so I can’t complain good location. I was just hoping to be right on the beach, but it’s close. A boardwalk is very nice.

Not ones to inject negativity into our reviews, we feel a little is merited here. The bottom line is that the room and the hotel is nothing like the website portrayal. If it had been portrayed as an old style, somewhat dilapidated Miami Beach motel with halfhearted efforts to upgrade things here and there, this is your place.

The room is spacious but needs some maintenance. The blinds fell off and hit my friend in the head. The pillows are lumpy, a/c is very noisy. It's very good value though given how expensive everything in that area is and it is very close to the beach. Also staff was very kind in dealing with the blinds issue.
