We arrived early due to our cruise arrival and the front desk was good about securing our luggage. We got our room early at approximately 1:45pm but after moving into it we found it very noisy. After an hour or so we asked to be moved and the desk clerk Noah searched hard and accommodated us which we appreciated.

Overall, the hotel accommodation was fine. Some noisy neighbours and walls fairly thin, but not an huge problem. The breakfast situation was decent (we upgraded for breakfast buffet). Room was small and room door lock was faulty — We realized mid-way through our stay that the room door could be pushed open without a key or turning the handle from the outside because the lock wouldn’t catch properly (we had to monkey around with it a bit to get it to catch). Staff is friendly! Very much appreciated the front staff allowing us to check in early and check out late.

The property was filthy once you left the lobby area. My room smelled like cigarettes, I asked if I could even move my room I was told no because I used a 3rd party to book (Expedia).. I will NEVER visit this hotel again. The common hallways smelled like really bad mold or moisture. It was just an overall horrible experience and I was on Fort Lauderdale for my birthday and was disappointed to say the least.

Beware of the mold.

The beach and the view from the room were the best things about this place. It has an older update and everything is showing its age. We were on the fifth floor ocean view room with a large window. The window must leak water because the first thing we noticed when we opened the door was the musty moldy smell. Further inspection showed moldy carpet, curtains, and paint around the window. The bed was comfy and the linens were clean. They boast multiple restaurants but they all have the same limited items on the menus. Breakfast buffet was ok but not always included with the stay. Upon checkout there was no discount offered when we explained the mold problems and showed them pictures. Don’t think we would stay again. Probably should have been alarmed when we were checking in someone was complaining about a moldy room.
