Wonderful location, super confy and clean apartment, I loved the shower, bed and kitchen, many utensils available. My family and I were delighted with the apartment.
Perfect location for a visit to Edinburgh. Fortunate that the apartment is very near the office for key collection and a tad restrictive that keys are available after 3 pm although the office isn't open late. I understand they can make arrangements for people arriving late. The apartment itself is excellent; clean, comfortable and perfectly positioned.
Very large 3 bedroom property, with plenty of space for our family with 3 teenagers. The staff let us check in very early after coming up from London on the Sleeper train it was great to be able to get some rest.
Great location too, great amenities with good heating system, washing machine etc.
Good location as long as you are expecting late night noise from revellers heading home.
Unfortunately the flat was dirty with a musty smell and not fit for purpose. The staff did reclean the flat the following afternoon after we complained at reception but not to a high standard as a quick vac and a blast of air freshener was not really satisfactory.
Staff were not interested really with our issues and have ignored completely our email of complaint.
We expected last night noise as we have stayed in the are before but we also had considerable disturbance from the flat above.
Broadband speed was useless through the wifi so resorted to 4G mobile data.
We have stayed in other flats with this operator but this will be the last time as standards are have really dropped off.

Great location in the old town. Steep slippy and worn concrete steps up to the apartment were quite dangerous, especially with luggage and a pram. Extremely uncomfortable beds and rattling old windows in bedrooms made for a long night. Decor and style of apartment quite pleasing overall, though some general repairs definitely needed.
Love the location. Right on the Royal Mile with amazing view of St Giles Cathredal.. Super comfortable apartment with large kitchen and living area with cozy bedroom at the back that is nice snd quiet. Could not be happier with our choice.
Location was amazing, apartment was perfect. I wish we were there for more than 1 night. Staff was super friendly. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend!
Location! Excellent roomy 2 bedroom with very nice bath and kitchen facilities. Beds not real comfy and no location for suitcases other then floor. Filming a movie so unable to go the Royal mile during the day for 2 of 4 days. Nor made aware until a few days before arrival.
Great location, property mgmt easy to deal with. Very comfortable for four adults without feeling like you are in top of each other.

The apartment was in fact in the Old Town and not opposite St Giles Cathedral where I had booked. I specifically booked that location as my dad cannot walk far and we were attending a graduation walking distance away. The office would not give us the keys until after 3 so we had to drive to the apartment to park the car then wander about trying to find a taxi in the rain. My parents then had to go back to the office from the graduation to pick up the keys and get another taxi back to the apartments. By the time we got to the apartments we were late for my son’s meal! It’s not near a shop either so we couldn’t even have a cup of tea! Not a good experience!
St. Giles Apartments are many and run by a professional company. We stayed on Victoria Street , building 3 on the first floor. So please ensure the location of the flat which is different from office address 375 high street. The office was a 10 min uphill walk from railway station via fleshmarket close. Post registration which was smooth , the apartment was another 5 min towards the castle. Fantastic 1.5 rooms and a lavish living + kitchen. Bathroom is well done as well. The apartment is atop a busy mexican resturant ( no noise as bedrooms are in the back) and many other shops. The ONLY thing you need to know that they do not provide toileteries. While they claim a starter pack. But then when it accommodates 4, the toileteries are good for one. When we did raise to the office people as a mere feedback they were quite insisting that they are never recevied such a complaint before. We got a feeling we were wasting our good feedback on disinterested staff. Also no complimentary parking for this flat.
Great space. Modern and in great condition. We're from the U.S. and would have appreciated wash cloths. Bathroom needs towel rods.
It was 30% less than a hotel.
