Great location, plenty of dining choices and close to tours and walking distance to the Edinburgh Castle. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Great activities to meet others. The room was too small for 2 people, outside noise all night (not within the accommodation building). There is no quiet space to go to and the common area is a restaurant. Worst hot chocolate I have ever had and I have them a lot.

First it was a hostel bed and I was even kept in the up bunk. The room wasn’t ready until 3:45pm and still wasn’t clean. I couldn’t sleep there had to look for somewhere else to sleep only came back this morning cos I forgot my charger head. It the worst hotel experience I have ever had

The staff is fantastic. The bunk beds are comfy & clean. They have daily activities in the common room (beer & whiskey tastings). The hostel is in the middle of many important historical sites. Right on the Royal Mile & close to Edinburgh Castle.

This hostel couldn’t be in a more perfect location for exploring Edinburgh’s Old Town. The staff were incredibly friendly and personable. The Court room is great if you’re looking for affordable sleeping space and don’t mind sharing space with other visitors.
