We were excited to stay on this iconic ship but unfortunately it’s in need of some TLC and in need of a refurb as it deserves.
Our bedroom was below the restaurant and had scraping chairs above so had very little sleep.
The area around is all being developed so tricky to walk around.
Best stay forever. I will be back again in shaa Allah! Mustafa was the best. He helped us a lot and he even gave us the historic of Dubaï a little bit. The breakfast is a never see from all my previous stays in Dubaï. And my pictures I posted on the social media inspired all my friends and family.

Very friendly staff, great hospitality and amazing food at the LIDO restaurant. The food can make a stay truly memorable. Chief Bakri is real talent in the kitchen!

The restaurant, LIDO, and Golden Lion, offers amazing food, and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
It felt surreal actually staying on the QE2. The room was understandably compact, but had a porthole view overlooking the marina, which was pretty cool.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great.
We had a stroll around the ship and sat outide for a drink and to take in the views.
The only downside I would say is my wife ordered some food, but it wasn’t that great but as they’d stopped serving, no alternative could be offered.
Nonetheless, it was a great experience and we were both glad we did it :-)
I frequently sleep here not because it is a great location, but because the overall spaciousness gives me a sense of freedom and rest, which ironically I usually need when on business in Dubai between the endless meetings and fun-packed evenings. I do love waking up and with a view of the water. While there are plenty of historical artifacts and reminders of the QE2’s glorious past, it is the spaciousness that provides the present-day reminders of how great it is to feel rested in this crazy city.

Très déçue.
Je n'ai pas eu de coup de coeur. Mon arrivée à l'hôtel n'a pas été agréable, plusieurs personnes essayaient de ne pas faire la queue à la réception et passer en avant de tout le monde et cette méthode semblait même encouragé par un employé. Ma chambre n'était plus disponible alors, ils m'ont baissé de catégorie et ce, même si j'avais payé pour une Legacy. Ils ne m'ont rien offert en compensation et ça semblait normal pour eux. Je n'ai pas dormi par le bruit dans la chambre au niveau 3. Il a fallu retourner 3 fois à la réception le lendemain pour obtenir la chambre à laquelle j'avais payée près de 2 semaines au paravent.
Je n'ai jamais eu d'aide par les portiers, soit pour le transport des mes 2 gros sacs à dos où même lorsque j'ai demandé une direction afin de réserver un taxi. J'arrive de 4 mois en voyage continue en Asie et malheureusement, je dirais que c'est ma pire expérience pendant cette période. J'ai demandé un remboursement pour la chambre que je n'ai pas eu mais que j'ai payé et aussi pour le dédommagement des contres temps et aucune réponse. Vraiment déçue.
L'hôtel est quand même très bien malgré les réparations, parcontre, plusieurs endroits n'étaient pas accessible. Il y a des chantiers de construction dans les environs mais aucun bruit ou dérangement. Le petit déjeuner était plus que parfait. La literie, le lit, la grandeur de la chambre Legacy est très bien. J'ai bien aimé loger dans ce bateau historique.
Terrific cabin/ room very large and well looked after. Nothing much to do near it apart from a walk around the marina. If you like nostalgia and history this is a great place to stay. Very little to do in the evening. The shuttle bus only goes to the city once a day which isn’t enough.
