Reception was welcoming and thorough. The hotel is a new edifice only a few years old. It has a trendy big city vibe. The rooms have a modern stylish style.

Déçus de notre sĂ©jour. Nous avions rĂ©servĂ© une chambre avec deux lits doubles Ă  l’hĂŽtel Times de Drummondville, mais plusieurs Ă©lĂ©ments ont malheureusement compromis notre expĂ©rience. À notre arrivĂ©e, la chambre Ă©tait complĂštement plongĂ©e dans le noir. Nous n’arrivions pas Ă  trouver l’interrupteur pour allumer les lumiĂšres et avons dĂ» utiliser la lampe de nos cellulaires pour nous orienter. L’interrupteur principal se trouvait derriĂšre la porte entreouverte de la salle de bain — un emplacement peu pratique et non intuitif. De plus, contrairement Ă  notre rĂ©servation, la chambre ne comptait qu’un seul lit double, ce qui nous a obligĂ©s Ă  dormir Ă  deux dans un lit trop petit pour assurer un confort adĂ©quat. Le matelas Ă©tait peu confortable et il n’y avait que deux oreillers au lieu des quatre attendus. Durant la nuit, aucune veilleuse n’était prĂ©sente pour faciliter l’accĂšs sĂ©curitaire Ă  la salle de bain, et l’éclairage dans celle-ci Ă©tait trĂšs insuffisant pour se prĂ©parer convenablement. Enfin, l’insonorisation laissait Ă  dĂ©sirer : nous avons Ă©tĂ© rĂ©veillĂ©s par une dispute provenant de la chambre voisine, ce qui a ajoutĂ© Ă  notre inconfort.

We spent only one night at Grand Times on a stopover. It always seems odd to me when the front desk can’t match the online deal 
 so we literally booked online from the lobby to save $60. Our rate did not include breakfast but was still a major savings and the breakfast was $13 each for a cold, continental. There is a modern vibe and it looks nice, and both the lobby and room was clean and modern looking. A few odd things included black walls with black light switches
 a bit of a scavenger hunt. The one bed in our 2 bed room was actually a “Murphy bed” and could have been folded up against the wall. There was shampoo and soap dispensers, but no conditioner or moisturizer
 which seemed odd for a property that was twice the cost of others in the area. It did have a pool that we didn’t check out but not a hot tub which we had hoped for. An easy walk to many local restaurants and amenities which is nice. Also a nice large tv and small fridge in the room. The walk in shower was also hot and good strength which is key for me. Overall 
 not sure it was worth the money, but that’s probably a personal preference depending on what your priorities are.
