Family accommodation in Discovery District

Checked in at 1 am. After a tiring trip. From desk member didn’t greet me. Just asked for id, gave me the keys. Didn’t inform about preauth on credit card. Cleanliness is average. Smell of detergents and fresheners too strong. Liked quality of soap& shampoo in bathroom. Bed was ok but had a loud squeezing noise every time I moved.

The rooms were definitely not very clean at all. They look like they had been renovated but not kept up. We originally book a king suite(2 room suite) and were told they only have one of them and it was "out of order" due to a water leak. They didn't tell us this until they had already checked us into a room they knew was incorrect and I asked about the mix up. Anyhow, we worked out that issue and I was fine with staying in the current room and they were accommodating and gave us one night of our two free. It wasn't a horrible stay but the rooms were quite dirty and we had absolutely no towel bar or anywhere to hang wet towels after showering. There was dried CHUNKS of food on the couch and spots on the sheets. They was quite a bit of dirt around the toilet and the couch also. The breakfast was lack luster. Waffles, some fruit, oatmeal and sausage that looked a few days old. Also VERY watered down juice. Overall it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed and the staff was friendly.
