The staff in the restaurant were terrific, as were the housekeeping personnel we encountered. However, there was blood on our comforter, and we had to ask twice before it was changed.

Hidden gem

Skyline suite is absolutely stunning. Almost apartment like. Parking was full but Des Moines has skywalks that lead to parking garages which make it convenient in the winter.

When we arrived we were greeted immediately and the gentleman let us know about our parking options. He also helped bring our bags, from a family of 5, up to our room and unloaded them all. I wish I would have grabbed his name!
