Our charming 1950's Des Moines home is right off I-235 just minutes from downtown, great restaurants, family-friendly activities, and nightlife. You’ll love our place because of the adorable kitchen, beautiful outdoor space, cozy feel, and friendly neighborhood. The house is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families with kids, big groups, and four legged friends. There is a $50 fee per dog.

Guests love our house because it is on a charming quiet street in the heart of the historical ingersoll district. The backyard oasis is peaceful and relaxing.

Comfy home

Our family stayed at this house for a long weekend. The kitchen was well-stocked for meal prep, the living room was cozy and inviting, the bedrooms were everything we needed. It was easy to stroll around the neighborhood and to visit nearby shops. We would stay again. The dining space is a small space in the kitchen which works well for a couple of people, but is not as well suited for a larger group if you need to do a sit-down meal at a table. Check-in was a breeze and the hosts easy to work with.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The home was spotless upon arrival, and it was clear that the hosts take great care in maintaining a clean and welcoming space. All the amenities listed in the description were accurate, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was reliable.The host was incredibly responsive and available for any questions we had, making the whole experience even better. Bathroom description is inaccurate- photo shoes removable shower head and there isn’t one. The pots and pans were not usable due to severe deterioration and I had to go out and get my own pan for the e week. There is only 4 bowls to eat from and there were 4 of us we had to wash dishes after each meal. The beds are worn out and also squeak really loud. The yard is torn up in the front as well. The outlets in the bathroom do not work for the hairdryer and there are only 2 prong outlets upstairs in the office - unable to plug in a computer. Disappointed

Surprisingly spacious and clean

Excellent location, "bigger on the inside" house. The only drawback is there's only one bathroom, but it wasn't an issue since I was only staying with one other person. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and neighborhood. House was very clean. Nice backyard. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen and bathroom. Overall was a very nice place to stay. Would definitely book here again. A couple of things that I might mention is there is not a railing for the steps to the entrance of the house and the front blinds on the bay window are a bit broken a one missing.
