Active construction and lack of cleanliness.

I have been going to this hotel for several years. But this last time was my last time for a while. That place was dirty, going under constant renovations, full of old appliances all over the hotel area by elevator and pool. The room itself was old and dated. As much as I have enjoyed this hotel on the past I will wait until they finish everything and maybe go back. Just know the hotel looks NOTHING like the pictures here.

Very dirty place, on the first day we have to go out to buy towels because the towels on the bathroom were full of hair. The place is nothing like the pictures. Monday morning at 8:00 am there was construction at the building, we have to wake up and leave.

In general, the property was rundown. In addition, in our room, we found 2 dead roaches, and had to kill another live roach, and palmetto bug. As my wife is deathly afraid of roaches, this was not a good situation.

Pros: Bed linens were clean and comfortable, shower pressure and temperature were good, elevator was fast, beach access was good, Cons: Air conditioner very loud, door to adjoining room was locked but had a huge gap all the way around where the light shone through all night, no grab bars in shower, tub floor very slippery, we booked an oceanfront room but the view was only partial, bed was very uncomfortable, drinking water was not available at breakfast, only one packet of regular coffee was available in the room, baseboards and casings were greatly in need of cleaning/paint.

room was dirty and clearly not maintained. The photos online are completely misleading — nothing like what we actually got. Everything was outdated and in poor condition. The bathroom looked and felt like a gas station restroom. Service was awful, and the staff didn’t seem to care about any of our concerns. When I called to voice my concerns they assumed we were leaving and attempted to come in with my teenager in the room. With no phone call. On top of that, the noise from neighboring rooms made it impossible to get any rest. Would never stay here again. Save your money and go elsewhere
