Stay at the Blu.

Great hotel for convenience to the airport. The reception staff is top notch and offer early check in with a reasonable fee. The hotel is modern with special artwork, the bed and bathroom are spacious and comfortable. Locations of the bar and restaurant are right on the reception floor, the drinks and food were very good.

We only stayed one night. We arrived from Milan to Hamburg and we couldn't be more happier to know that the hotel is a 5 minute walk from the airport. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and new. The rooms are spacious, have coffee (machine) and iron board! We had a great stay because it is so convenient.

The AC was so high that even after turning it off, the room was an absolutely uncomfortable ICEBOX. I decided to go down to the sauna while awaiting (in vain) for the room temperature to normalise, only to discover that the sauna, for the SECOND time I have stayed here, was not open. Nor was staff around to offer assistance. Such is life. I could at least watch the news… Or, so I thought. CNN International was actually just a blank screen… I expect far more for a 4-Star hotel. Still, the feather pillows were a highlight…

The room was great, tidy. I was able to check in early which was nice. Only thing i found odd was a weird stain on one of the towels that I left on the floor. Luckily it was just me for one night. But I would think staff would check towels prior to placing them in rooms.
