I gave this property one star because not once , but twice, our request for a ground level room, due to my husband’s disability and difficulty with stairs, was ignored and we were required to climb a long flight of stairs with luggage late at night after 30 hours of travel. This was followed by misplacing our key fob when we stored our car with them while on vacation. Not impressed with the service.

We stay here regularly to visit friends. It doesn't seem as well appointed as it was in past years; maybe time for a refresh. But it is a convenient and comfortable place and the staff are excellent.

I met up with friends from Germany who were traveling in Courtenay. They were staying at Crown Isle Resort so I booked there to be close to them. I’m a budget traveler and I wouldn’t normally stay at a place this expensive (for my budget) but it was lovely. My cabin bedroom did face a busy road so it was noisy but I turned my white noise on to sleep. Very clean, excellent comfy bed!!

Nice quiet resort. We were in room 316 on third floor and it was nice. Had 2 queen beds but one was unusable. Mattress was so soft that when sat on it created a V shape. Golf course was ok but not spectacular. Ate both nights in the Timber Room and the food was fantastic. Would probably return.
