Just your average hotel. Nothing earth shattering positive or negative. Check in didn't go so well. Tried to check in about 1PM but there were no rooms available. Then as we were leaving, someone else came in and miraculously there was a room available?!?! Pool was nice. Bed TERRIBLE. Like sleeping on a slab of concrete.

Bad service hotels.com/Hampton shower not clean

Hotels.com messed up our reservation and the first night was not on the books for Hampton Inn and they were totally booked, so we had to find a hotel to stay in for the first night. That was very distressing and the clerk at the desk at Hampton Inn was NOT very helpful. I had to practically pull teeth to get her to help us find somewhere else and she was very snitty and tried to ignore what I was saying. That was a terrible experience and we ended up at a lower class hotel for the night. That being said, the second night, when we went to Hampton Inn to check in, the clerk that night, a different person, was very helpful and respectful. The hotel was clean. One complaint was that the shower was left with a used bar of soap in the soap dish and made us feel as if it had not been cleaned. Also, our towels were not replaced on the next day and we had to go down to the desk and ask for new towels at 11 pm.

Check in was supposed to be 3:00pm. I got there at 3:49 and my room still wasn’t ready. There were a bunch of people standing in the lobby waiting to get their rooms too. We were all there for a concert. People were getting ready in the lobby since their rooms weren’t ready. Due to this we also missed the first two artists of the concert. Completely unacceptable!

We just stayed for night while in Columbus. We stay at many Hampton Inns. This one nice. Just disappointed no napkins at breakfast (ran out) and food was low and ran out before 10am.

The gentleman name Abraham on staff did a great job but all in all it was overpriced for the fact that we had a broken TV. The female, who answered the phones and worked the front desk was rude and not very helpful. When I asked about getting some kind of discount since they couldn’t move us to a room with a working TV I was told they couldn’t do that. All they could do is add to the Hampton reward points. I wouldn’t stay at another Hampton. I was thoroughly unimpressed with this one and think I’ll pass on any future visits.
