This motel was not near the airport. I needed to be at the airport at 4 AM, and had hoped to be at or very close to the airport, but when I arrived, I was told the shuttle wasn’t run that early, and that a taxi would be $40-50NZ. Fortunately UBER was readily available, and considerably less, but still a hassle and point of anxiety at that hour.

It was convenently located close to the airport and had a free shuttle. The room was big with nice kitchen amenities. The neighboring restaurant was good. One down side was that the shower was an open layout so there was water everywhere, even when we detached the head to use it as a wand. That made the bathroom floor and neighboring kitchen floor very slippery.
