Great hotel - all details considered to offer great guest experience

The location was excellent and was within easy walking distance to the historic center of Bath.

When we arrived, we were told that they did not hold a booking for us, as Expedia had cancelled our booking!!. It took over 4 hours for the hotel, myself and a guy from Expedia in the USA to semi resolve the issue. The hotel were wonderful, Expedia were blatant liars as they told the hotel that they had informed us of the cancellation, and had booked us into another hotel. Shame on you Expedia!! As the hotel had restricted accommodation left for our visit, we had to rearrange via Expedia to stay in another hotel for part of our stay. Unlikely to be using Expedia again which is very unfortunate as we have used them on numerous occasions over the years.

Good location and clean

The facilities and presentation of the hotel was excellent. Location is perfect. Bedrooms comfortable and roomy. Bar service very good. Breakfast food was good but service was poor. Clearing tables all around was slow including our table.
