The Wyndham Grand Cancún was perfect for what we were looking for. We wanted a non luxury all inclusive and it did the job. I enjoyed the multiple pools and the jacuzzi bar was nice for the early evenings. The food was average but had some above average options as well. Restaurants: Breakfast at Pima Colada (La Pina): We enjoyed breakfast here everyday. It was nice to be served rather than buffet style. My group enjoyed the pancakes, mexican burrito, and croissant. They also brought out fruit plates and bread to the tables. Victor was super great and we were always happy to see him. We had Dinner at La Paloma Buffet: We weren’t super impressed by the options at the buffet. We had quesadillas made to order that were good but wasn’t a fan of a lot of the other food. Dinner at La Vista: We really enjoyed this meal. The salad bar and soups have great options and felt more elevated than the buffet. We all had the sirloin or baseball cut and they were all great. Service was exceptional as well. Dinner at Da Vinci: Service was great here

I love the old staff that treats us like royalty although some like one new member of staff was not as friendly at the food place by pool he was the only one that I feel should not be working there, but Orlando and Noe as well as Mazo are the only reason I will go back.

Well, i loved the check in process. It went quick and fast. I purchased the roundtrip flights and the hotel package. I had to pay 30 usd cause of the cleaning of the villa for 6 days for 5 people. They missed a couple days of cleaning and after notifying them they quickly jumped to the daily cleaning. The hotel was clean and they always had towels ready for the guests. The paloma buffet was pretty good. They had a godd assortment of food. The lunch options were also good. They had sushi, tacos and nachos on another, they had wings with fries on another. The one on the beach i would highly suggest. They had good seafood options. When we checked out before 12 pm i told them our ride to airport would not get in until 1 pm. The front desk didn’t take our wrist bands and advised to still keep enjoying the amenities until we get picked up. That was nice of them. We were able to have lunch before taking off to the airport. There were an assortment of drinks in the refrigerator which were stocked up for free in the villa. The villa had 2 floors. Ist floor had the kitchen 1/2 bath, dining area and living room. 2nd floor had two rooms. One room had a king size bed and the other room had 2 full size beds. Both rooms with their own bathroom and balconies. The third one had a king size bed with a full bathroom and a balcony. I recommend this hotel to everyone Nobody in my family became sick from their foods that they served.

The property was nice and easy to navigate. They upgraded our group to a villa that slept our group of 6. The actual villa was a little outdated but overall good. The staff everywhere was great, really hospitable and helpful.

My mom and I stayed here this past week, the resort exceeded our expectations in many ways. Our room was very clean and spacious. Gorgeous bathroom, and very comfortable beds. Lots of options to lay around both pools, the main pool had lots of fun activities throughout the day and great music throughout the resort. Joe at the adventure desk by towel pickup was amazing in helping us book an excursion. Highly recommend booking a Thai day bed , we had the privilege in having Adal look after us. All the staff had such great energy about them and very funny! We enjoyed the sushi bar the most :) As two young woman traveling we felt very safe when leaving the resort. 10/10 recommend

General Info: We travelled as a group of 5 adults (75, 67, 46, 43, 40) and 2 children (8, 6). Travel was Saturday to Saturday. Check in and check out were smooth/easy peasy. Airport: Flew out of Toronto direct to Cancun airport. Used Park and Fly Valet in TO, as we always do, and always pleased with ease of use. Luggage arriving in Mexico took FOREVER! We waited over an hour to see any from our flight, and apparently a few flights before waited 2 hours! Not awesome. Everything at the airport is $$$, no surprise. ONE margarita was $30 US, granted it had like a cup of rum, but still. We prebooked Nexus Tours for our transportation. They were insanely busy upon arrival, so we had to wait about 30 minutes for our ride. On return, the bus was at the hotel right on time, and no wait. We have used Nexus a few times in past and would definitely use them again. Rooms: We had 2 rooms on floor 21 (king room and 2 doubles) and 1 room on main floor right near pool (king room). Rooms are spacious hotel rooms. King rooms had balcony with small table and two chairs, the double room did not have a balcony and it was certainly missed. I would say getting a balcony is a necessity, so enjoyable. Beds comfy, pillow options comfy. Small mini fridge with a few pop and beer each day. Housekeeping came in and made beds/tidied each day, no deep clean, but that was fine for us. Having a room that walks out to the pool is amazing, especially if someone in your group has accessibility co

My daughter and I visited this property for spring break. It was clean and we felt safe. The staff were nice, property clean, and we did not get stomach issues from the food. I would go back to this property.
