Very nice stay, relaxing location further from the main Cancún tourist area, but also only a 10 minute car ride if you want to go towards there, staff was all very friendly and helpful with anything you would need. They also let us know they are about to do a massive renovation to the entire resort, will have to check it out again when it is updated.

I've stayed at all inclusives all over the Caribbean and Mexico - Paradisus is amazing. Great dining options, minibars in the room and restocked daily, unlimited drinks and great entertainment. There is a lack of non-motorized watersports, but this is due to the stretch of beach the hotel sits on. The concierge is amazing at arranging excursions and off site activities.

We stayed for 6 nights. The resort is about to close down for a year to undergo extensive renovations which resulted in low occupancy. It was not very busy which was great but as a result the number of staff was also less and the service was inconsistent and quite poor in general. We upgraded to a Family Concierge suite when we arrived because the normal rooms had old dilapidated tubs for bathing and the “renovated” rooms had walk in showers. That was the only difference between the fully, newly renovated rooms and the old ones. However, upon upgrading our service did not really improve all that much. Due to the low capacity, no reservations were able to be made for the restaurants and so the wait times were about 30-40 minutes at high time. The shows were very low quality and the entertainment was nothing like what you would expect at a five star resort. We have stayed at Royaltons in the past and this was subpar in comparison. The only upside was their beach. However even that, on some days had seaweed but definitely not as much as other hotels in Riviera Maya strip. The beach was the only benefit of being at this resort, however even being able to sit on a Bali bed on the beach is a whole ordeal- we had a Bali bed included for one day with our upgrade to family concierge and even then, we can’t get ocean-facing ones or beachside ones. There is a premium cost for these- sadly they were never used during our stay which is a shame because that would have been redeeming.

We enjoyed the stay. The staff was great. The food was not the best, but I would love to give a shout out to Gerardo! That man needs a raise!!!! Took care of us when we ate.

It was a really awesome place and everything was amazing the only thing I would say they have to improve could be the food quality, it is good but I think the food is not at the same level from the other amenities, lastly the tvs, today everybody watch netflix, prime, hulu or others streaming services and not having a smart tv in a hotel like this is kind a miss. Just want to state again, everything was amazing but thise are just 2 small things that can be improved

This property is set to close for renovations in June, and the effects of an understaffed team are noticeable. However, I have immense respect for the hardworking individuals who remain, doing more with less while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude. Unfortunately, the spa was disappointing and not worth the visit—save your money. The women’s sauna was out of order, and the overall service was mediocre. My massage felt like little more than being covered in oil, and to make matters worse, there was no spa music—just the relentless ticking of a clock for 50 minutes. That said, the dedication and excellence of certain staff members made my stay worthwhile. Martin, who maintains the pool area, goes above and beyond in his work. In the Capella restaurant, Ramiro and Armando provided exceptional service, while Nicolas and Rafael stood out in Aguamarina. At the poolside bar, Asunción and Julio took great care of my family, ensuring our glasses were never empty and providing service with warmth and professionalism. Were it not for the incredible staff, my experience would have been mediocre at best.

I love this place it’s really nice and affordable I’ve seen the bad comment and i honestly don’t believe them everyone at the resort ( the workers) were super nice And I feel like if your nice to them they will treat you the same way love this resort will definitely be coming back !!!
