Check in process took about 1.5 hours. The actual hotel and staff were great. Beautiful pool, and views. However, getting reservations for restaurants that only took reservations was very hard. Many nights only had dinner options at 9:30. The bars all close at 11, and so does the lounge area. They should have at least one area open later. Food was good, but their system of doing things can definitely have improvements.

Beautiful hotel, dining and beachfront. Super clean restrooms by the pools and beach. Reservations needed for restaurants. Limited menu and portions on the reserved restaurants. Sal steak house not included in your stay. Malva international buffet have a variety of different foods but needs a bit of flavor. But overall very clean and beautiful.

We had an amazing time on our family vacation here. We traveled with 2 pre-teen girls and they loved having access to all the great food, pools and beach. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The front desk was very accommodating along with quite a few servers we had at the restaurants. We specifically loved Gerardo at Malva and Jose Cahun in the Italian restaurant. They were beyond friendly and excited to see us each time. We stayed in Pyramid 1 on Level 6. The view was amazing and it was quiet and were able to hear the waves at night. Overall will recommend to family and friends. They are going to be shutting down for a remodel for a year - so we are excited to see what it will look like after and hope to visit again.

This is not a 4.5 star hotel! This hotel needs updating and that’s exactly why it’s closing in a few months. The staff were all very unhappy, the food was absolutely horrific and the drinks were awful!! It was very apparent that they don’t take care of their employees or at least train them properly. When asking the bartender for a special drink they looked at you like you were crazy and made our stay very unwelcoming. I’ve stayed at Expedia 3 star rated hotels that were way nicer. It’s sad to say that we couldn’t wait to leave. As far as the restaurant reservations go, GOOD LUCK trying to get a reservation. They say the restaurants are “fully booked” but no one is eating at the restaurants and tables are all empty. It was very sad! They want you to eat at the disgusting and unsanitary buffet. We ended up having to upgrade our experience to the family concierge and bribing our concierge in order to get a reservation at the restaurants. I have never left a negative review but this cannot go ignored! Sadly we did not enjoy our stay. Our family was looking forward to it.

I booked this property through Expedia . On Expedia website it allows a 17 yr under child . When we reached the property they made us wait 45 mins first then told us we did the booking wrong as according to their property guideline 17 is considered an adult . I had to pay the difference , it landed up being more than I wud have paid for an adult and what the price for the day was. Then the manager Cici was rude I could clearly tell she didn’t want to understand the situation and told us we can find some place else . Never staying here. It’s between Expedia and Paradisus . They should resolve this booking issue .

Resort- beautiful and clean, the rooms were dated but they were clean and once they start renovations I am sure they will be updated. Pools/Beach- I read reviews about how hard it was getting chairs, we never had that issue. The pools were beautiful and clean. The beach is the best beach in the hotel zone. I took a long walk and was able to compare the Paradisius beach with others- by far, the nicest, cleanest, largest beach out of every hotel I walked past. Activities- Tons of activities for the kids. The activity staff are wonderful. Our family had so much fun every night, between the jump houses one night and the family friendly silent disco, it was wonderful! Food- the buffet was great for. Breakfast but we did not like the dinner options. There was nothing for kids and I wish there were tacos, guacamole, or anything that would be standard for Mexico. The restaurants were all amazing- Flora was our least favorite but we loved Cielo, blue agave, Lemon Fish and Capella. Jose at Capella was our favorite, he was so friendly and provided outstanding service. The coffee shop had amazing coffee, the staff was also amazing!!! Concierge service- our concierge was wonderful. He booked all of our reservations, the escape room, our Bali bed, and sent us activities for the day. I am not sure if it was worth the extra money, although it was convenient having him do all of this- I read some reviews that their concierge put milk and cookies in the room and balloons- we don’t get that.

Recently stayed at Paradisus - Cancún for my birthday and everything was better than I could have even imagined. I was blown away by the exceptional customer service from all staff. I truly felt like royalty! Everything felt seamless & flowing. It was easy & convenient to schedule excursions & make reservations for meals. Being that it was during spring break, it was busy but not to the point that it felt crowded. The only place you’ll find crowded is the pool of course because it’s incredible, so keep that in mind finding chairs after 9 can be difficult. We opted for a towel on the beautiful beach, only a short walk from a bar and restrooms, etc.. We rented a beach cabana one day & it comes with a bottle of champagne and a seafood platter. Considering it was hard to find chairs the entire time, it was nice to have a designated spot to relax for the day & also have a server that came by frequently for drink refills. The buffet has a wide variety, breakfast was really good, ask for Jorge! The best thing I ate while I was here was the black angus ribeye from Sal. Omg. It was the best steak I have ever tasted in my life & I’m from Texas! Lol The service at the steak restaurant was phenomenal, worth every penny and truly made my birthday trip feel so special. I’ll never forget it. Biggest take aways from this place is the beauty of the resort & the amazing staff that actually connect with you & provide exemplary service. It truly exceeded my expectations. Book the trip!

The property is beautiful same as I imagined 5 years ago. The only negative about the resort is that the pool is TOO deep. If you don’t know how to swim, you will not be able to enjoy the pool time.

I paid for a premium Junior Suite and i definitely not recieve what I paid for. I spoke to guest services, they told me it was pretty much nothing they could do for me. Room had no coffee machine but has a kitchen so how was a coffee machine not there? But my other colleague had a regular room and had a coffee machine in there room. The turn down service was a hit or miss. Room service was ok. Some staff members were nice while others seemed as if they didn’t want to be there. Regardless of the situation I made sure to tip.
